  1. You have inspired me! Thanks heaps! Well done.
  2. Good to hear the service department is organised because dealing with the sales department after a sale is ridiculous. Only after I explained to the receptionist that I had been calling and leaving messages for 3 days and requested to talk to a manager did the Sales Manager take my call (and even then he was a bit of a prick).
  3. A bit off topic but.... How do you find Lander Blacktown (the dealer, not the spare parts in Prospect)? I'm finding they don't return calls and if they do it takes a very long time. I think they need to review how their reception works and how they pass messages on.
  4. Bugger, I thought you would say that. I'm not smart enough to fit anything that isn't plug and play so it's not going to happen. Thanks
  5. What do you all think about these? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CAR-ALARM-DUAL-MICR...4634.m352.l1262 http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?I...mp;form=KEYWORD Think they will easily plug into the stock alarms? I couldn't find any reliable reference about the stock alarm. I was looking for a knock sensor but I couldnt find any such product, maybe it has a different name.
  6. Check out apg39's sig. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=16269
  7. Stylusion, Is your Aurion the tungsten colour, or are my eyes getting old? I have a tungsten 07 Aurion ATX and I live in Sydney. I will get some nice rims in the next 6 month (i'm rockin the factory hub caps at the moment :( ). I like the grill on your car, I think it suits well. But if you were wondering what it would look like with black head lights. (my photoshoping skills suck)
  8. Those little ******ers. That sucks! I live close by.
  9. 1) Ingres 2) AUR30N 3) VF-X 4) SecaBoy 5) Stylusion 6) Hidden Taco 7) 8) 9) 10) I'm very keen on ones that say "Aurion" or blank or Toyota.
  10. FYI You can not purchase this piece of plastic by its self from a Toyota Spare Parts distributor. The part can be purchased in the group pack of parts that make up that section + the ash tray for around $600. Needless to say I am not going to risk screwing this little piece a plastic for the sake of a scangauge. I will most likely put the scangauge hidden in side the glove box as I mainly use it for fuel consumption information.
  11. I'm pretty sure it is on by default and factory installed in every Aurion. To test your alarm: Remove the key from the ignition Close all the doors and leave a window down then lock the car with the remote (if it is raining just sit in the car and lock it with the remote) the alarm will activate in 30 seconds (so wait 40) then open the door from the inside get your ears blasted off Read the owner's manual for specifics. I don't feel very comfortable posting the specs up for easy access.
  12. I am interested in a group buy as well.
  13. Looks very nice. Can I ask where you got it form and how much?
  14. Does anyone know the name of the part the OP is talking about, if it is available at Toyota (or else where) and its approximate price? I am looking at installing a Scangauge 2 here by cutting the plastic. But I have never cut plastic before and was hoping that I could purchase a spare. There are a wealth of plastic cutting tutorials online but I dont want to hurt my car (and my ego). It would be great if I can get it flush, but I doubt my skill. I might opt for spray painting the scan gauge silver as well. I will be posting up pictures of my travels in another topic if I can make this happen.
