Hi all, does any one know what the Epsilon Brand is like?

Info on this unit is hare to find :-( Apparently it does not have RCA outs but has not been confirmed yet..

Cheers for the reaply again: Hsien I might head up to GoldCoast Car Sound and see if I can have a play with the unit :-) What are the pro's and more importantly the cons that you have found about having this unit? Again sorry for all the questions just want to make sure I get the right head unit the first time round :-) Does any one else have any other sujestions on what units I should be looking out for? Sorry guys, was not clear, I have updated my post, the $500 is only for the HeadUnit... but this is absolute MAX I can go.. Obviously would like to stay under this... but with a colour LCD I've noticed they are more expensive :-D Also with the sub I am after somthing that does not take up too much back seat leg room (so "longer" Amp is better I think), but would also like access to the tuning of the amp :-) LOL, I know I'm being fussy, but I though I'd try and see if I can find something that would fit best first if I can't find any thing I'll have to lower the bar a bit :-) Many thanks for the replys so far guys :-) Cheers FB

Hi All I am currently trying to find out what Amps fit well in our Sportivo’s under the seats. I only need a basic single four channel Amp, to drive the fronts and a sub. What would you recommend. Any particular brands you guys have been happy with? (Price under $400 if possible) Also looking for a good quality head unit (there seems to be so much crap out there). I am after an MP3 head deck that has at least 2 RCA out’s, can display MP3 Tags (Song info), built in crossovers would be good, and possibly a colour LCD screen. Trying to keep MAX price for Head Unit under $500. Any suggestions? Cheers :D FB :D

Hi All I've been reading around the forum trying to find some info about what alarms are best but there is not that much details as such. I would like to try and find an alarm that can utilizes the factory key remote to arm and disarm. I would also like to have an option to automatically put up the windows if possible (although not that important but would be nice) Battery backup serine would be good if possible. Please could you also let me know what else I should be looking for, I’m not tooo sure! Eg. Sensors/motion detectors, glass shatter detection, bump detection??? I really do not have much idea on what would be best. Any advice would be appreciated what to look for and what systems you would recommend. I live in South Brisbane so recommended places also be good :-) Cheers :D FB :D

Thanks for the reply Donza :D Hear is the list of changes of any one else that would like them :-) 1. The new box is moulded straight off the Corolla, however the first version consisted of an mdf back with fibreglass sides, so it wasn't an exact fit like the new box is. 2. Because the new box takes up the entire space, it is now exactly 1 cubic foot, which allows you to put any 12" sub in it and still get optimum sound quality. The old box was 0.8 cubic foot, which meant that you could only use 10" subs or very few 12" subs. 3. The front of the new box also moulds completely into the shape of the car, it looks like it is from the factory. The price of these boxes is $399 (carpeted) OR $499 (Vinal) Enjoy! FB

Hay Donza I have not seen the new box yet... do you know where I can find out what has changed and see some pictures? I was thinking of making my own box but want it to look good at the same time, my first sub box I made for my old car was OK but not as good as some of the ones you can buy... LOL :P It just seems that $400 is a lot of money for just the box. (Old one for $300 was a better price :P ) but if any one knows what has been changed and has some pics maby I can understand what the extra $100 is for :-P Cheers guys!

Yip Blue_Stivo I'm with you mate, I've filled up about 2-3 times with the new fuel and have not noticed any difference at all, can't feel any power increase nor do I get any more KM's on the clock... I was using Optimax before but am now trying Vortex as many of you guys like it (and it seems to be cheaper, and also can't notice much of a difference to tell you the truth) :-P Personally I think it’s a waist of money, and Shell are ripping people off with there new fuel (don’t know much about it but heard that ethanol should make the fuel cheaper but yet they are charging more!) Ow well thats life, not 100% sure if it's true but thats what I got told any way... :-)

Bugger guys, looks like the box has gone upto $399 now He is going to start another box soon and should be ready to have a look in about 1 week from now so I'll give him another call then and see how we go :-) Apparently he is also working on a slightly new design (Mounting the speaker, not sure how yet but I guess I'll see) :-) What you do guys think about the price? $400? I personaly think that sounds very expensive???

Hi SILVABULLIT Pics look great... would it be possible to get some more pics of taking it out, how it is huld in place and can you still access the little flap on the right hand side in the boot (could not see this in the pic unless this is a new feature in the 05 upgrade Stivo?) I would definatly be interested in your box, been looking for one or thinking of building one my self but the work has been done :-D how much would postage cost to Brisbane roughly any ideas? Hi specialized32 I also had a few issues with my shifting into 3rd. I'm not sure what fixed it but it's fine now... :D It might have been me getting use to the new gearbox (after being so use to my old car) or perhaps it was just new, and needed a good workout before she comes right :-) Either way I am happy with it now and all is working great... just kept getting better and better, now I downshift from 6th in 2nd on the highway at times and have great fun :-) As micky_tee has said I might give the downshift into 1st some more attention.. I have only done that once before but when my car was new and have never done it since 2nd seemed to be good but now 1st sounds like alot of fun! :D :D :D The things you learn on this forum is GREAT!!! Hi Northy Is it easy to change lift to kick in at 5700? Nice... Turbo... Has any one droped a turbo in the Sportivo as yet? I think it would take off then... LOL Any ideas on a price for turbos installed drive away price? (Just rough ideas) obviously for our Sportivos :D are we looking aroud the same price? 6-7K? If you get a turbo installed do you need to upgrade any other parts in the car to handel the extra presure/speed...etc..etc.? Also what would be the new specs of the car after this? Any one have any ideas? B) Cheers boys
