  1. So extremely rare then! Especially if you are referring to the Pokies at your local RSL
  2. Full wash and dry, spray wax and hand clean of the wheels + tyres (including inside the wheels) and have the car not even get on the road before it rains.
  3. Damn, it's so expensive. Oh well, I thought it was a good plan. If you change your mind.
  4. Sorry man, much prefer Mick.Wheelz to install it for me. He's cheaper and I need to save a dollar. You know, with the GFC and all.
  5. Those aren't bad ideas. Can you guys help me install them if I buy the gear?
  6. I was thinking last night, before you make a claim for insurance (since you're parting out before claiming anyway) that the Camry needs a bonnet vent. How much for your bonnet (I really only want the vent, you could cut it out and just send me vent)? You could just tell the insurer the guy who hit you stole it before he ran off from the scene. edit: oh, I was considering having a tinker with the exhaust too. How much for the cannon?
  7. You can't squeeze anything else. Job should be done under warranty and the dealer is under no obligation to provide you with anything else. Even if you get a Toyota sticker, it would be a bonus.
  8. Hrmmm... I am also of the opinion that it's probably someone who doesn't like you. Time to go over the list of people you may have offended.
  9. Indeed. If she's totaled you'd better start parting her out.
  10. Not really, I secretly want him to come so when he talks ***** (torque at 2000rpm, TRD Aurions are *****; ask Dave about that) I'll tell him where to go. If he doesn't show up; we win anyway. It's one of those win-win situations that rarely come up
  11. I'll be out tonight, probably after 9pm due to requirements of The State. Hopefully someone won't be there tomorrow. Otherwise I'll bring out my angry face
  12. What is the deal with these chicks who do this? It's so frustrating!
  13. Punishments to the breaking of applied rules can be an effective way of stopping repeat offenses. In this case, reducing the amount of accidents which is caused by excess speed. Whether you see the camera or not is irrelevant. It can get you thinking twice about speeding (especially knowingly) because oh don't know where you might get caught. In QLD it's useful anyway, it fixes the roads. So if you ask me, more people need to speed!
  14. I have been told by 2 guys (One owns a GT3 he other an Aston DB9) that the Whistler Pro 78se has saved them multiple times from fixed speed cameras but you need to make sure you have the latest revision software. STYLSH tells me however, the handheld radar detector is useless as by the time it registers it's presence; it's too late and it will have your speed. Given the legal status on these in QLD however, I wouldn't be putting one in.

I have a Rep of 4 as well; I didn't realise that it came from the amount of + you get on your posts

      Five! Huzzah!

  17. Wow! The reputation button works now! I use a waffle weave microfibre towel, 90cm x 90cm. I can dry anwhere from 85-100% of the car without having to wring it. http://dryingtowelsale.co.cc/viking-microfiber-waffle-weave-drying-towel-9-square-feet/
  18. Not buying race seats. I just need to check the mounts and the plug for the airbag + electrics (if they are separate). Even the facelift Gen5 seats are still cloth but more shapely for spirited driving.
