  1. You've done well Mick. Sat and Sun pics are great :D
  2. Not all products (including car cleaning gear) can be shipped to Australia due to regional restrictions.
  3. Such a great weekend. Thanks to all that helped organise not only the Show and Shine (sponsors, Toyota North Lakes, the guys who did the BBQ) but also the entire weekend as a whole. Even with the mishap today (which in my opinion, was handled brilliantly) it was a total success. Thanks to all the inter-staters who came up, it was nice to meet you all and hopefully you all have a safe trip home.
  4. Is sad that the Annual Meet for 2011 is over. I had such a good time

Ditto!! Was really fantastic, I have had a great time this week and will be leaving in the morning very satisfied with my holiday :)

  5. I had to just 'clear some space' so I can get a peaceful sleep. It has messed with my sleeping routine!
  6. Thoroughly enjoyed today and even the weather managed to hold for the Show and Shine. Senses are reeling from that sundae though.
  7. National Meet starts tonight! *sunglasses* - Yeeeeeaaahhhhhh!

  8. So excited!!!!!! Bring on the 2011 TOCAU Annual Meet!
  9. Sounds like you use the car regularly as a people carrier so I'd say new shocks and a lowered spring would be best. Unless you are going to track/mountain run your car regularly, I would say the KYB excel-g shocks will be fine. You'll notice a difference compared to standard as I'm guessing you've done more than a few km on them, so new struts will feel great. If you go Low springs, expect to see around a 25-30mm drop with virtually no loss in ride quality. If you go superlows you'll see a further drop of anywhere 10-20mm but the ride quality will be compromised. Furthermore, you will scrape. A pair of King springs will set you back around $150 and a pair of KYB struts will cost you around $300. You'd be looking at around $900 plus installation.
  10. That is one clean car man. God does she ride on the 19" and the coils?
  11. Just thought id try my luck, are the parts still for sale? I believe I have the front brake pads but the belt and the rear pads are probably for sale. I can contact The Viking to confirm this (he's not on the forum heaps). If you are in need of the front pads (and he doesn't have any fronts for sale) I'll PM you.
  12. If you go shocks, you will need springs. If you go coilovers you won't need anything else. As for what I recommend? It's hard to recommend anything given your needs will vary from someone elses. Ask yourself what you want from your car and what you do with it and choose an option that will suit your needs/wants.
  13. Even on the softest setting, a coilover is going to be rough as guts. It's going to range from: Oh my god this is so rough I want to kill myself to Oh my god this is so rough I am so close to killing myself.
  14. Well, forecast changed from 'rainy periods' to 'possible shower'. The percentage hasn't changed and neither has the forecast level (20-40mm). If it rains, Mother Nature better be prepared for the wrath.
  15. I'm not. In filling with rage. Calipers need painting, wheel arches and engine bay needs degreasing and cleaning, cut and polish needs to be done, then sealant/glaze/wax stacking, interior needs a clean PLUS Project X needs to be completed. Arrghhh!!!!
  16. Has so much to do before the annual meet and time is an enemy.

Now that we have Project X to be done and have offered Tash to come up Nebo with me, I have to take the Camry. Cut-polish-seal-glaze-wax-wheels (damn Remsa), Nebo, Wash/wax/detail on Saturday morning.

LOL's. Even your Camry will not be immune to getting dirty on Friday. All this speak of glaze etc. Even if I was entering the S&S, all I would be doing is waxing my car. LOL.

      Ahhhhhh!!!! *pop*

  17. It depends on the swirls. You wouldn't cut and polish your car because you have light swirls all over the car; a swirl remover/cleaner wax would be sufficient. Then the equipment you use will play a part as well. I won't say much more about paint correction as I am not particularly familiar with it.
  18. We never got around to organising that one this year unfortunately. This is something that can probably be organised outside the annual meet boundaries anyway :)
  19. It's not applicable to the 4-cylinder. 1mz-fe V6, NON-VVTi engines only.
  20. Brilliantly man. Bedded in the pads and then went up Nebo. They were fantastic. Anthony gave Daryl and I a scare though; he was in front of me and by the time we got to the end he wasn't there.
  21. TRD Aurion brake upgrade complete. Yeeeeaaaahhhh!

  22. A productive day today. This: and this: equals this: - TRD Aurion 2 piston calipers + RDA Gold slotted and dimpled rotors, 325*32mm - Carbon fibre vinyl on the the faded b-pillars and door frames Big thanks to Daryl for doing the install of the brakes for me. Going to Nebo to give them a run tonight. A big thanks to Steven for his help, his work is absolutely immaculate. I also have another plan for the car, which won't be revealed but will be revealed at the annual meet.
