  1. Filling up when the prices are cheapest; regardless of how full your tank is will always yield you the biggest savings. It's not rocket science.
  2. ... I also wouldn't mind having a sniff around the Gen6 abit closer. Those TRD Scion kits are hard to visualise.
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-Black-TOYOTA-TRD-AXS-Racing-Seat-Covers-5-yr-warranty-/160489658942?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item255dedda3e#ht_1412wt_873 OZAXS Seller, 2 'TRD' Throwovers for $90 delivered. Remember, if you've got seat airbags you technically shouldn't use them!
  4. Nice Gen6. The Mars-da is abit of alright as well. Brisbane member? You's better join us at our usual Thursday night meets if you are, we don't have a Gen6 here yet.
  5. Go with Daryl. I can't confirm my attendance yet! <_<
  6. Oh, they will definitely make a difference. I am just saying that you will come out wanting more. Happened to me with my suspension setup. Switched to KYB excel-g and lowered springs, RSB + strut brace and was pretty happy. Put in some poly bushes and was pretty happy. Took it up for a few hard mountain runs and became very unhappy. At least I know I have some Koni Yellows which will set me straight.
  7. If your Camry is affected, it will be likely that you will receive the recall notice in the mail. But given that the master brake cylinders on the 36 series Camry (pre and post facelift) are different part numbers and physically different to the 20 and 30 series Avalons I wouldn't lose too much sleep while waiting for a recall notice that *probably* won't be sent to you. edit: Dammit Daryl, give me a chance to look up ToyoDIY man.
  8. Yes you are. You're coming ! You really want me to come. I wonder what death-trap you have arranged for me @ this 'beach' you speak of.
  9. It certainly makes a huge difference going from worn shocks to new shocks, you'll definitely notice a difference when they throw the rears in. Biggest issue is, you'll notice how much you want a sportier shock once these are put in!
  10. hrmmm... will be in sometime after 9pm due to requirements of the State.
  11. probs wont see me for longer than you realise :( Sounds like you are dying... You aren't dying are you? I should be in tonight, feeling heaps better than yesterday and still resting up today.
  12. I never want to see a morning like this!

  13. When installing speakers (+ the crossover) into the door panels, in terms of electrical safety; what should I look out for? Also, same question applies but to the headunit?
  14. Gah. Have to eat to take medicine but cbf'ed eating. Who's up for a pastrami, cheese + salad sambo on grultimain bread?

  16. TRD oil cap + TRD high pressure radiator cap. That's gotta be worth an extra... 50kW at the wheels?

  17. It's been a while since I've done something to this thing. Installed a TRD oil cap (genuine!) and a TRD high pressure radiator cap. Also put on some new rubber, but that in itself isn't worth posting about!
  18. I like this new layout, much better than the red stuff. It's on par with the old blue one.
  19. If you say so. All these problems with the Camrys make me wonder whether the street cred they have is justified.
  20. I might as well say it, I think the 350z is tacky and ****y.
  21. Maybe a cut a piece of hard plastic and line it with weather trim. drill 2 holes on the end and corresponding holes on the cowl. Whenever you know a big patch of rain is coming, use some self tappers + right angled screwdriver (or a similar tool where you won't have to remove the cowl) and fit it on. It would be able to removed relatively easily. I might just carry the seal in the car at all times but otherwise just leave it off. :P
  22. This is the best idea. However, if you are set on a new car I would go the Lexus any day of the week.
