  1. Mecha'nic'-wombat lol, easy peasy... just do them up by hand first, or socket without the ratchet.. so u dont cross thread it. and dont over tighten it and strip it...make sure the gaps on the spark plug looks all the same, and none are damaged... n DONE! Yeah, at least you aren't working on an Aurion: yeah looks like my 6G75 in the 380 a real pain in the keister
  2. Give Rocket industries a bell they have 1000's of different K&N panel and CAI filters in stock and ready to pick up out near blacktown
  3. So I live in Sydney and well the last week I have had to deal with fog every day I dont have fog lights in my zze122 Rolla yet but in my 380 I do and I have them on alot and I have changed the globes which happen to be H11's as well I love being lumped in with bad drivers cause we seem to be the MAJORITY compared with the good drivers Seriously though My lights have being aligned by my mechanic and his alignment machine to proper specs as set out in the workshop manuals I only feel it is a problem if cars are poorly maintained and they usually have a headlight pointing up too which is even MORE annoying than foggies or have HIDs without projectors
  4. IT IS JUST THE CAT and sometimes IT IS SOMEONE ELSES CAT NOTHING ELSE Unless you or your passengers FARTED
  5. Yeah I just started doing it saves me about 50 bucks every 3 months plus I get to put in some "real" synthetic oil rather than to thin castrol edge the mech puts in If you have trouble with the oil filter just punch a hole in it with a screwdriver and twist it off wear gloves as warm/Hot oil sucks and makes clean up so much easier afterwards was a good feeling when I started her up and she purred rather than sounded like a diesel before the oil change Next thing is the plugs but I have to grow the Balls to do those LOL
  6. I seen it round Mortdale too I still aint being spotted might have to hoon up and down clarendon LOL
  7. I have seen Brand NEW toyotas sitting on the docks for months before trucked off to dealers plus you then have stock sitting in the yard awaiting a buyer usually as well
  8. I was inspired by this LOW price mod so I wrapped my 380s old damaged rear bar for a test peice which is in the Backyard it survived 46C days, dog pee, and rain so I wrapped my lower bar on the 380 best 3 bucks I have ever spent on doing up my car
  9. Removed Bilstien adj. coilovers and replaced with Lovell super lows and boge shocks Detailed car before driving to my parents to give them the keys It is going to drive like a dog when I get it back Oh well at least my fillings wont fall out when I take it through the RNP when I do get it back LOL

  16. To remove heat effectively first you need to have some where for it to go I dont own an Aurion but I do this on all my cars I get in and wind down ALL the windows I have the fan on but not on recirculate drive for 2-5 mins and get majority of stale hot air out of car turn on AC wind up all windows half way and let AC cool car a bit more than button up and drive away In my 380 GT it is fitted with a sunroof so I just leave it open as HOT air rises I just need to get the windows tinted on it but it does not get too uncomfortable even with leather which I thought it would but doesnt
  17. E10 is usually 91 RON they use a lower grade fuel and then bump up the RON by adding ethanol to reach 91 RON Some have 91+ which is the 91 regular unleaded then ethanol added which brings it to round 95 RON If your car has not being running on E10 since you brought it dont use it I put e10 one time in my pre facelift rolla a year ago and spent the next 6 months fixing it GRRRRRRR
  18. HKS filter has different density foams for trapping crap I will be getting a K & N got one in my 380 and best 60 bucks I spent
  19. have you tried your local toyota dealers spare parts?
  20. how many kms on the clock I do mine every year and $280 is about what it costs anywhere they would do a power flush rather than a drain and top up so they force all the old spent fluid out while putting clean new fluid in I dont know where you got that it would harm the transmission! seriously, if done correctly your transmission will shift smoother and faster trans fluid is usually reddy pink when new Now if your not happy with the ultratune guy why not got to a trans specialist and get a second opinion
  21. jaderd has said it all (I have done exactly the same OFFSET FTW) I dont think you would have the borrowing power for a house that is 600-900K on 80k combined I have a combined income of 180K and I would not look for a house in that price range most houses are OVERPRICED for what they are just because of a POSTCODE We never saved much but we did strike it lucky in the Housing boom when we bought a block of land for 70K and sold it a year later for 180K so we used the money to put a deposit down to buy a house in sydney Banks look at your saving history, credit history and assests and liabilities Good luck but I would be looking at a cheaper property to avoid getting knocked back
  22. Seen a white Caldina GT on thursday on Morts rd in Mortdale
