  1. A Corolla with Aurion running gear I can see a few transplants coming soon from wrecked Aurions LOL I wanted to get the 3L out of the Avalon and drop it in my Rolla only money and a suitable donor was not on offer
  2. My aerial is stuffed too my car has trolley dents and scuffs and the rear bar clear has seen better days But I wash her every week polish once a month give or take look after the car regardless of its current condition as the APATHY will end up destroying what was a nice stivo
  3. If you love the results of what you achieved with the Prima gear then I would definetly recommend using Prima Amigo glaze before you apply Epic. This adds to the depth of the colour and the slickness is amazing. I have used this combo on many cars and the owners love it :D Guess what I have just ordered from santa LOL thanks ;)
  4. I replumbed the stock intake on my prefacelift rolla to beside the foglight rather than with all those stupid bends and it sitting up in the engine bay
  5. I got my clay kit from ZAS I love the Prima products they sell as well and the results on my gunmetal rolla were great I washed with megs hyper wash dryed clayed washed again new bucket and mitt dryed prima epic prima hydro Looks sensational and it did not take me all day 3 hrs head to tail I also clayed the windows and it is amazing how much grime can be lifted off the windscreen even when you think its clean
  6. Is everyone out west?? I drive my Rolla over to the eastern suburbs from st george daily and still not spotted LOL
  7. Fill it up You might not get to next service Oil starvation IS BAD If you truly care about your car fill it with oil Oil is relative cheap, $65 5l Mobil 1 considering you would pay the same for a tank of fuel which will not take the same distance as the oil would why skimp
  8. Eucalpytus oil will remove tree sap and glue residue and leaves the cars smelling like a gum tree
  9. yeah had issue with fuel filter mine cough and splutter for awhile just be glad you dont have a 380 the fuel filter and pump are one unit under the back seat
  10. Man I drive my rolla all over sydney and still after looking through 102 pages no spot LOL
  11. Pulling out I have a date with a BIG boat some TUNA, Billfish and a few Noahs Arks I will chasing game fish off the coast probably off where the nasho is Soz guys the Corolla stays in mothballs
  12. Did anyone else think that this thread was going to be heading in another direction??
  13. geez no wonder you have to wash it twice a week LOL I am a once a week guy in my driveway usually some wash and wax in a bucket, microfibre noodle mitt, another bucket of clean water Rinse with a gentle shower to remove loose dirt all over wash one panel at a time with rinse in between starting from turret rinse mitt in clean water between panels once completed flood each panel with a sheet of water (this actually cuts down on water beading left on the surface and makes it easier to dry) Dry down with microfibre cloth to remove most of the water spots use a second cloth to complete drying car clean windows and mirror with another microfibre cloth once a quarter I will polish the car and wax over the polish for that super deep lustre vacuum carpets and seat and wipe down interior plastics of car with ANOTHER microfibre cloth dampened with some water Just washing takes me all of 20 mins including drying with the interior add another 20 mins and polish and wax adds at least another 2-4 hrs and I do this for both my Corolla and the 380 GT I have over a dozen microfibre cloths just for the car and they are a mixture of styles for different applications The best money I have spent on a car is those cloths
  14. only HIR globes I can find are from ///IPF and they are only H4 so my corolla misses out but they are over 100 smackers landed as I have only being able to find them OS
  15. Hey guys just want to know what everyone is using to keep the black plastic tims on their cars looking new ATM I am applying car plus "wet look" tyre shine sprayed on to a cloth (I had it lying around and it made the tyres on the echo look new when I detailledit for sale)and it makes the plastic on the exterior plastics come up new and not that nasty rough faded grey what does everyone else use??
  16. Some really fantastic info here I wash both my cars weekly and if you aint got on to Microfibre WHAT ARE YOU THINKING! I have a MF noodle mitt and an assortment of MF cloths for different parts of the vehicle 3M make the best MF in my opinion One of the things I do to rinse the car is to 'flood' the area so the water sheets off after washing the area. This makes drying with a MF cloth afterwards a breeze becuase there is hardly any water beads to pick up I wipe down the whole car with one cloth to break up the bigger drops and then go over the car with a clean dry fluffer cloth and then finish with a final wipe down Windows have there own MFcloth which is very different to the general purpose ones used to dry the car I might have a look at the quik detailer might save me some time but I have got my washing of the car down to 1 hr start to finish and a full detail to 5 hrs for one car
  17. I may come but I will meet you guys at bertram stevens drive if I do Would have just finsihed work for the night
  18. Ya i've got thousands of songs in my ipod wired upto pioneer head unit. Thanks for the post tho. -Azza My aerial has being ripped off and the base has being broken for over 2 years but I still get good reception unless I am in a TUNNEL
  19. I would have one I was going to convert my 2002 rolla with the avalon V6 before I woke up and realised that was too much for my feeble mind to comprehend I would love to see a V6 AWD Rolla but it would then put the Aurion down a notch as the rolla would become the HALO car
  20. Sounds the goods for replacing the poxy globes in my Rolla and 380 without retro fitting a HID projector kit
  21. I had a bad experience at Lander as well Was promised a SILVER Echo for delivery only need deposit to secure Was then railroaded to take a WHITE ECHO I demanded my money back from the deposit and have the contract terminated TOOK me a WHOLE MONTH for my deposit and a threatening letter from a solictor Went to Sydney City Toyota and was accomodated IMMEDIATELY I have had 2 issues with SCT but they handled one very well and the other very poorly I no longer service my car at SCT due to their POOR RESPONSE to a Problem they created after treating me so well before that
  22. Dont worry about all those OLD **** diesels choking everyone with there fumes EPA just worry about a few dBa Seriously what a WOFTAM
  23. Thanks I have used search before posting and could not find any photos or step by step plenty of CAI threads but nothing I am specifically after unless you know of a specific thread with the info but that does not matter got it sorted now I just have to feel the noise
  24. Ok lads My 2002 zze122 conquest rolla has being rolling around with the Stock air intake unbeknows to me after to was hit in the front Left at scene of accident OH well my loss dont care Now I want to take it out the stockie and just run some pipe from behind the grill or foggie slot anyone got pics of the removal of the stockie I should have picked it but driving a 6cyl you tend to not notice the real lack of power after awhile BTW I wont be putting another CAI in ATM
  25. Ok I have pretty much always owned Toyota's I had a twin cam rolla a seca echo and still have the zze122 rolla My family grew this year and we needed a large car the rolla and echo could not cut it I was set to buy an Aurion I do not like the camry at all But when I did side by side comparsion the 380 was a far better buy and it handled my extended test drive of the Nasho way better than the aurion did Power is nothing handling is everything
