Personalised plates full stop went up about a week ago - they are now charging $30 for each slimline plate for people who want to buy personalised plates.

I'm happy though, rego for me is $526 for this year, was expecting a lot worse!

  10. I encountered the same problem again on a late model astra. and the job i did is cleaner than my own one. What i did is just cut one line in the stock bracket so i can sort of bend the bracket far enough to let the wire through and essentially the bulb will fit in perfectly. Then just screw the bulb in as per normal. Note; Make sure the bulb does not move in the bracket. If it is moving around and you think it may fall slip out, secure it in buy using silicon like what i have done. With my one it fit in nicely, however the bulb was rattling on the edges of the brackets just a bit and i wasnt happy with it so i used silicon to securely put it in place. x amount of months later, with a lowered car and a stiff ride..no issues or fall outs what so ever. Tash; HIDs kits have everything you need for plug and play. only thing you may need is a new bulb bracket if your HID kit doesnt come with it. If it doesnt, read the above :)

  12. Let's say for argument sake, I could get a 2gr with low kms on it for dirt cheap. What kind of work would need to be involved to do a 2gr drop into the gen 6 camrys (07+)?
  13. Wow your getting 8.5l/100? You got a manual or auto? Damn I should of just gotten an aurion cause my i4 camry is getting round 9-9.5l per 100 with 3/4 led foot driving Aurion engine drop in my camry? Lmao jks, not baller enough.
  14. Nuh I haven't bro. Might inspect that too. I was thinking maybe it could be worn bump stops ?
  15. Yeah? didnt even think of that. Ill do the above sometime real soon when i have the free time. Probably take a look underneath when i got the car jacked up for some suspension work sometime soon. Thanks andrew!
  16. Do want! But can you get HIDs for your parker lights?
  17. Hey fellas, was wondering what could possibly make a squeaking noise coming from the left rear parcel shelf? I took it all apart, ripped out the seats in the hope to find the problem. The squeaking noise is similar of that of a bolt thats not really "snug" in its hole and just squeaks when moved. The squeaking sounds occurs when i hit the bump but strangely, if the weather is warm it makes no noise at all :S . Yes i checked my coilovers, nothing loose there. So i opened up the parcel shelf (or what i could do), and nothing in that area appears it could make that sound. It seems in cabin too, because its loud enough to hear distinctively from the front seats. Any help would be much appreciated! Reece
  18. Haha the new sig pic, yeah it's my ride with the last few mods i want to do photoshopped into it...hopefully this will motivate me to do my brakes and headlights & foggies this year. :D Sorry for being totally off topic but I'm loving your new sig Lee :D On topic I'd have no idea where you could mount it......oh wait, scratch that, I think I know of the cover as it popped out whilst driving through flood waters. I agree. Im liking it a lot mate. Hope you get it all done! Looks low as too! Lovin it Anyway, back on topic, yep thats where you would mount it! The square cover on the front pops right out.
  19. oh fo sure. ill go sus it out. thanks lee! And sup with your new sig? is that your ride? :o
  20. Haha thanks for the heads up Dave! For me atleast, it's all for the looks for this car! So should be alright! "low&slow"
  21. True that. The search begins! Im looking for a nice purple one atm hahaha and its all good brother, please let me know what you find! haha
  22. Good point! yeah i like that a lot. Might get a spare "front tow hook cover" just to clean the look up so there wont be a massive black square left in the bumper. If i got the generic one like you suggested, what thread pattern should i look for?
