  1. I bought a Netz Badge suited for the pre-facelift ZRE. Unfortunately they don't fit the facelift model. This is second hand and have some light scuffing. Part number: 75311-12A20 $30.00 + Postage
  2. PM Sent. Also, how much tread left on the tyres? John
  3. Glad to see all the replies, I was curious on what others were running. I wouldn't think any of the ZRE owners would be running anything like Royal Purple or a higher grade, although Plytime could be an exception. Just to confirm I also get the rattle on start up as well using OEM.
  4. I'm planning to pick up some oil for a due service. The dealers recommended a 10w-30 grade. I just wanted to know what other ZRE owners use, I'm aware that a few already run Castrol Edge 5w-30.
  5. Tried to install a Stebel horn. Fail due to my lack of knowledge of electronics. Apparently it's suppose to be really simple.
  6. Must be having fun with boost since he hasn't replied... Can you tell us how much boost you were running before the ECU decided to go so sour on your first setup?
  7. No need for a jack. I wouldn't rely on a jack while working under the car anyway. Sometimes a slope on a driveway helps as well if you can't fit your head in for a peek.
  8. Update: I was doing well yesterday until I got interrupted and had to head out. There's about 6 bottom screws or more for the facelift. Hopefully I can have some time today taking it out. Thanks guys
  9. The Netz badge is less than 1cm smaller (all around) than the facelift ZRE badge. Here's a few images:
  10. I successfully removed the original badged but it looks like the Netz badge that I bought was designed just for the prefacelift.
  11. Thanks for the replies guys, I completely forgot about the reservoir! The screws on the wheel arches makes a lot of sense now. Just a question... johnnieboi, I'm not sure what you're talking about, do I use this to drain out the reservoir? Or is this something connected to the chassis? I guess I'll find out..
  12. Hi guys, So I was trying to remove my front bumper late this arvo but it ended up getting a little too dark to work. I ended up removing the top rivets and the screws and I made my way down to remove the screws around the wheel arches - all they did was spin and not actually come out. Is there a special way to take them out? And is there any other tricky places that I need to watch out for? I know there's a small pivoting panel underneath each headlight - are these for the sensors? Rivet points and screws - No this isn't my car and I don't have valvematic. I found this online...
  13. Hi everyone, So I managed to get my hands on a Netz badge for the ZRE, I know a few of you ZRE owners already have it installed but I haven't seen a guide around. I just wanted to know the process. Is it just a matter of pulling down down on the original badge and then pulling it out, it seems that some force is needed. Thanks John
  14. lol those rear lights are looking real nice Charlie! Injen suction sounds sweet as well.
  15. Not liking the look of these welds, Such a noob for not having a closer look when I had them done. Thinking of getting them done correctly, anyone recommend a place?...
