  1. after parts for my preface sportivo. would be interested in most things really but here's a list that i may be interested in front strut brace, cai trd style grille ported headers exhaust maybe black toyota badges prefer brisbane sellers as postage probably be a killer on the bigger/heavier things.
  2. If you want to know why that happened, the Black series are only rated for Street use, if you look at the co-efficiency (μ=0.48~0.32) and temp rating (500℃) you can easily tell it won't even last you a few laps of all out track or spirited driving (depending of course how good a driver you are too cause the better you are obviously use less brakes but you can't defy physics). If you want TRD pads that are good for both street and spirited driving then look at the TRD Red series which has higher temp rating BUT the co-efficiency is higher so it'll wear out both itself and your rotors quicker ;) yeah never touched the track, failed in the back streets lolll... i dont want red cause the fact u said wear's out rotors quicker... whats a pad that isnt really dusty, good on the rotors... and high temp...? should try qfm performance pads. a lot of people use and recommend them. they're local http://www.qfmperformance.com/ 129 fr/79 rear for hpx street pad too bad they not 79 like normal, they make them as ordered for the front of the sportivo
  3. just hold every1 up at speedbumps, and angle it baby. use to do it all the time in the old car haha
  4. after research i have came up with this order of preference also depending on how tight i am on money 1. RE001'S 2. T1R'S 3. FEDERAL EVO'S
  5. yes i want all 3. the best tyre i can get for my budget. i thought re001 meant to be real good? i find it that im struggling in the wet now. aquaplanning on takeoff from a hill while driving normally!? i was like wat's going on!??
  6. so they good you reckon? well top my list are federal evo's since i havnt looked at other brands yet. want to price up toyo T1R's was going to go look today at some places but finshed work a bit late.
  7. in the corolla part numbers thread stickied, it says to get this part no for sportivo. so should be right? Injen CAI - RD2075P P - Polished R - Red B - Blue Blk - Black
  8. howdy anyone direct me to the best priced tyre sellers in brisbane? and recommendations on best tyre for around $130ea currently have potenza adrenalin re001's all round. very good but i do not like there characteristics since they have worn down (about 5mm left) they feel a lot crappier than before. thought 5mm still decentt?? havnt priced them up yet and only after front 2 tyres for now. only looked at kuhmo and federal so far. want to price up toyo and maybe hankook? considering federal 595-evo for $135ea they also have 595-ss for $110ea kuhmo 80-110 pretty cheap and decent i reckon! going to go look around archerfield on the weekend at some wholesale tyre places. thanks in advance
  9. yeah due for change this week. was thinking saturday. going with 10w-40 penrite full syn and ryco oil filter trying to get a oem oil filter. never heard of acdelco, are they better than ryco and penrite? i see they have filters and oil
  10. hi just wondering what's the part number for the geniune oil filter and trd oil filter for corolla sportivo. cant find anything on ebay how much and where you guys get yours from, online anywhere? cheers
  11. spotted debadged white sportvo. lowered and front grill on centenery to indro. was in my black one
  12. looks like i found my noisy problem then! replaced belt already... ill see if im game(or not lazy) enough to try sometime.
  13. ah ****. sorry to hear, but this is one of the reasons why i switched to a sportivo from an import.... wth have people come to. some people up very late too ay. lol
  14. spotted silver sportivo with i think gunmetal rims near surfers, and a black one with tinted rear taillights aswell same area. was on saturday around midday i think.
  15. hi is the 'prefacelift door mirrors electric ' same as 05 facelift hatch ones?
  16. yeah you can attach it. sportivo is just the same body as your car with the sportivo kit added on. believe you just screw them on, maybe some brackets? havnt really looked at my sportivo kit up close.
  17. hi josh thanks for the info. the unit is already out, so ill put it back in and give it another go. and i think it was orginally from motorama moorooka i believe, have to confirm with my mate. so firstly ill give the code a go, then ill tell ya which dealer it was from and lastly might hit you up to unlock it for me :) (if you're from brisbane) edit. was from motorama moorooka, on beaudesert road. so kinda salisbury.
  18. you can search for used sportivo kit. found one on firesport not sure if it's still for sale http://firesport.com.au/prefacelift-crolla...t--ad143377.htm or can get a new sportivo style kit from carmate, along with other ugly styles
  19. well you can only put 3 digits in the sportivo head deck. so i'll give it a go
  20. code needed!!!! lol. so who's got some toyota hook-ups, otherwise im going to have to pay for it! :(
  21. i plan on doing catback with it. a little loud? but still legal?? i dont want it to be much louder than stock. thought this big body muffler would make it quite quiet!??
  22. thanks for the welcome. yeah ill try to make it to the meets. what did you end up doing about your gear shifting problem? my one goes into gear easily at high rpm, but during gear changes it jerks and doesnt like bite straight away like other cars. my friends sportivo is exactly same problem like mine. we are attempting the clutch adjustment this weekend.
  23. hey, yeah might make an appearance sooner or later :)
  24. Twin tips tend to be a bit louder than the single tip counterparts. I would've thought that they'd look similar. The muffler dimensions are the same between the MP01 and MP02 and so is the tip length. I'm running the MP02 and I love the look of it :) yeah i saw that pic posted of yours and i love the look of it. read through you thread. kinda wanted a mp02 more, but this came up so got it.
