nice yeh the 2zz is gr8 on fuel.. was averaging about 650kms but with the addition of a cold air feed it got bumped up to 650-700 :D

I find the 2zz great on fuel. I average 650-700kms a tank. I give it a squirt here and there too. Once hit 730 while looking for a servo :D

hi all. need a wiring diagram of the stock headunit plug/harness for a 04 sportivo i have looked and searched and came up with the the diagram below BUT following that diagram caused everything to go funny. not working right. it plays but seems like the right front speaker isnt right. when i turn on the parkers/lights, headunit stops playing. no sound. amplifer doesnt power on either. so im thinking the diagram below isnt correct. did some googling and found another diagram which is a little different. tackled this late arvo so didnt have time to fix it and try the other as it was getting dark. can someone provide me with a diagram they used that worked 100% on the stivo. you could make a plate, put it between the exhaust flanges, and drill a few holes through it. will be well under for your test. just another idea for you. pretty cheap, easy, and dont need to buy/replace anything. but doesnt save you from it happening again though!

hi all. just wanting a basic audio system for my sportivo. just enough to be satisfied. need some advice on speakers. how are the stock ones? looking for basic splits/components for the front. want to spend around 100 saw a couple from wowsightandsound. was leaning towards option audio. are there other better ones for around that price? - FUSION ENCOUNTER 6.5" COMPONENT ...$79.00 - OPTION AUDIO 6.5" COMPONENT ...$99.00 i have some old rockford fosgate 100w 6.5" speakers that I think i will put in the rear. i am planning on running the speakers off the hu, down the track i may get a small amp for the front speakers if needed. what i've got so far > headunit : alpine 9857 speakers : stock amp : alpine mrp-m350 mono sub : mtx thunder 5500 wiring : 4 awg wiring kit needed : new speakers?, double din pocket kit, spacers for doors? comments and advice on current setup welcome thanks all

i sometimes notice a difference between 128/192 lol. if i were to add a low high converter for a sub to an stock headunit powering f+r speakers, will the volume/quality decrease in the front or rear? and would i hook the converter into either the front or rear speakers? maybe ill just invest in a new headunit

what is the quality difference in say running a stock hu with the converter for a amp/sub compared to a aftermarket hu with rca outputs to a amp/sub? none/not noticeable/little or quite a noticeable difference in audio quality?

probably wont bother with the 5" ones. ill buy some 6 or 6.5" ones when i see some good ones for cheap. im just looking for an excuse to do something to the car. haha

hi. what are the stock speaker sizes on the sportivo f+r? and what are the max sizes i can install on the front and the rear? think i've seen people install 6" on the front and about 4" on the back? saw some fusion RE-CM5250 2-way 5.25" component speakers on sale catalogue from repco ($29.95 save $150 but are probably more like 80-100rrp) so thought oh yeah pretty cheap maybe ill change the stock ones cheers

just an update. ordered the xtreme hd clutch + ultralight chromemoly flywheel. wanted it by the end of the week so otherwise probably would of gone with the fidanza fly. just a quick question, are the 1zz and 2zz flywheels different or the same? i believe they are different? because on the xtreme website they have the same part number. i called up and asked them to be sure and said i have a 2zz with 6spd and they said yeah that's the one. just want to make sure cheers

yeah i rather hd. a bit more pedal feel is fine, unless your a skirt. haha. i dont mind driving with button clutches either, they're fun. i see on the mwr site they have fidanza hd clutches on sale at 249.00usd. seems pretty cheap, they on par with other hd? exedy hd etc? came up with a list to choose now
