  1. last day at toyota today. new job tomorrow. rock and or roll.

  2. update - last day at toyota today. going into an IT company to sell and maintain their existing clients telco services. its located in castle hill so i'll be doing alot more travelling. woo! no company car anymore so will wait and see how this pans out so i can buy a new project car.
  3. i think it looks good as is mick. then again the graphite look is just as good if not slightly better imo. what i want to do when i eventually get my rolla no one likes the idea but i do so just stick with what you like man. Swise.
  4. under ground secured parking under my building.. that said im getting out of company cars and into a runabout that i couldnt really care where it gets left. though once i get stuck into my new job and buy the new project.. thats another story all together.
  5. im originally from perth. so im used to it. the thing is you normally know where they're going to be because they list the spots. the radio normally lists all the spots and tells people to call in with the locations + they usually target the same places and just cycle through. long weekends = every possible area they are aware of that there is people speeding. they are a bit tricky in w.a in the sense that on ethe highways there are like 200m sections where it will drop from 100km/h to 80km/h and obviously they set it up in the 80km area because no one drops their speed ahahah. im not really phased or concerned about this. im more frustrated by tolls. never had to worry about them before.
  6. it's a good look man! i like it alot. when i eventually find the spec/colour im after i'll most likely be doing the same. *thumbs up*
  7. around 8am followed old shape 4door rav from central trainstation up broadway(parramatta road) pulled over next to the uni - silver lowered i think 18"s with colour coded mudflaps and a nike sticker on the back window. anyone?
  8. juvenile i might have to get you to give me a hand with a few things if and when i get the rolla. cause i'll probably be doing the same things to it as what you've got but maybe with a few differences. where are you located?
  9. take it in to your local toyota dude. let the tech's plug and play.
  10. well after this discussion im still torn between the 2 hahahaha... might have to go on pricing and availability to what i get...
  11. The Rukus weighs 1885kg vs corolla @ 1805kg (these are gross vehicle weights - kerb weights are 1420kg vs 1310kg) It ticks all boxes except for being only 4speed auto which makes having sequential pointless anyways. Also resale and will i get bored of it. although in saying there is only so much you can do to a box i half agree because if you have a look at all the stuff in the states i'd have to say there is a heck of alot of things you can do to the car both performance and appearance wise... but yes no matter what the corolla will always look good.
  12. So i figured i would throw this out to TOCAU for both discussion and feedback.. so for the last 6-12 months i've been pretty set on buying a rukus as im sure the people who i've already chatted with are aware. Now that the car is out and i've been driving it a bit yes i think its a great car and caters to almost all of my needs the logic/realistic side of my brain decided to pop out and throw me off.. As we know toyota are NOT going to sell alot of these and they are to buyers taste completely. So in saying that i've though yes its roomy for everything i need in a car, yes its got great output for what i like to drive like, yes i like the design and features, yes its in my budget and has the ability to cater to my modding needs. Negatives - im a manual driver (rukus only auto - however the 4 speed is suprisingly awesome to drive), Resale value? will it actually have a value as i plan on turning the car over in a period of which it will actually matter, and of co**** will it continue to fill my needs or will i be jumping into the car as the lattest fad (to me anyways) and get bored of it to quickly. This leads me back to what im never unhappy with and never get over should i instead go back to buying a new facelift Corolla manual Levin ZR....which needs no explanation to why it should be purchased. what to do..? what to do..? yours kindly, Swiseone :)
  13. Are many people going to villawood on the friday night?? trying to decide whether to go or not. thanks gang!
  14. dealers now have all the specs. but no price or photo's (sketches)
  15. yeah i believe toyota once had an f1 equivilant ev car but i forget the exact figures of top speed and so on but it was pretty intense the only problem was there was a hydrogen build up and the batteries ran so hot etc that if the car were to have a serious smash you basically had a car with a h bomb strapped to the chassis.. mind you this was in i think the 1970's so surely they've over come these types of things...
