great looking car HT. Has anyone taken out the black surrounds under the grill and the surrounds for the driving lights on an at-x and left them blank? Are there any major trade offs in airflow or legality?

You shouldn't have any issues running 20s and wont need to change anything else. Just make sure you get the right offset and load compliance from the wheels and tyres. Check out the FAQ up the top of this forum section. Theoretically you can void some parts of the warranty concerning the suspension if you change, but it depends on who you talk to at Toyota as to if you get covered if something goes wrong. thanks matey...will look into things a bit more

I'm looking to start my modifications with the old wheel/tyre game. I would like to get 20s...Will I need to modify anything else immediately such as brakes suspension etc... I'm asking because the wheels n tyres I'm looking at will cost around $2500 and I won't be able to afford any other mods until I save up again. Also any warranty voids come into play here?

I would be more than certain that it's your own driving that accounts for the change in feel if your ECU was reset more than a few start/stop cycles ago. You remind me of my old TAFE teacher Not in a bad way or anything. Just brings back memories to when he would yell out 'who's got the wireless going?'. Ha Ha I have always tried to keep "classic" words going another favorite is flash :D

I'm sure my information in the manual and or door says 30.....is anyone else running the tyres at 30???????????????? I might give 38 ago all though before this car I liked 33. My current rides tyres look a little flat at the front but I thought having standard as purchased wheels n tyres that the powers that be at Toyota know best since this is my first toyota I'd go along for the ride so to speak..........WHAT SHALL I DO?

I don't mind a LAG start sometimes...it gets me to the next green light without having to stop and clears the p & l platers rushing home from work and saves me ALOT of money at the bowser. To me thats a tripple score that gives me more time to enjoy jjj on the wireless ;0)

since I only had one phone call so far while driving it's hard to judge me unit...but the caller is old so may just be her hearing...I shall wait n see (hear) for other calls lol ;0)

All I know is when I top up every week it costs me between 20 and 30 dollars and I'm THRILLED with that ( me 07 jimmny cost MORE per week ). I will admit to regular driving and like DJKOR I always drive with windows down depending on rain or not yee haar! -
