Dylan you were running a CES catback and CAI weren't you? You had more power than Brian did. He was pushing 115kw at the wheels. You had more didn't you? What's your point? lol What my car did on a dyno in Sydney vs what Brians did on a dyno in Melbourne in irrelivant to the arguement that cannot be compared. Yes I had the CAI and CES exhaust, but I thought the race pipe gave better top end ie better for the drags... The clutch and higher spec pressure plate make a difference, but I'm yet to get these items too. I would rate the HD clutch and pressure plate as having a greater effect on his time then the short shifter ever did... takes no effort to land 1-2 lift if you know how either ;) practice makes perfect... :P Practice does not make perfect with faulty clutchplates (or gearboxes methinks?). It was proven that some of them are screwed, and I have one. I can quickshift in every gear bar 1st to 2nd. I know how to shift. Mick knows I can. I'm not the only one with this problem. People fixed it with the clutch upgrade and adjustment. The race pipe gives 2kw extra and more top end, yet the CES catback gives 6-9kw with better midrange. The race pipe was better bang for buck in Brian's eyes. He just didn't want to spend too much on exhaust mods. The catback made a difference in my eyes. It did with a few other people also.

Waaahahahahahaha lol Sorry man, I had to laugh lmao. Aight Aight Giorgi I'll explain... The shifter, rather than going straight to the next gear, makes a stop in neutral and then the clutch is released. This is to allow the engine to slow down (or with a tap on the gas, speed up when downshifting) so the transition into the next gear is much more smooth. The driver then depresses the clutch again and completes the shift into the target gear, and finally the clutch is released again, putting the car back into gear. It only takes a split second for the engine speed to match the speed of the gears, so the entire action is done very quickly as a fluid sequence of events. You do this when downshifting obviously man. I do it all the time where I can. It also sets up the car better entering into corners ;)

Whats wrong with the TRD shifter? maybe it's his arm :P j/k some ppl find short shifters require too much effort to shift. extra effort definantly does not help when driving all day but the main reason was to put the ****er up nice and tall again.... i actually spaced it up taller easier to changes on those long **** bends So should I save my money, cuz I though that a short shifter would make it easier to drive and help hitting lift 1st to 2nd. Excedy hd clutch or equivalent my friend. That will fix the stickiness of your shifts from 1st to 2nd etc. The quickshift kit is like the icing on the cake. Makes the shifts quicker still. BanGn is a perfect example of what an excedy hd clutch and quickshift kit can get you. He ran a 14.9 with a quickshift, excedy clutch, injen cai and racing pipe instead of a muffler. That's all.

The TEIN's in Australia for our cars are a hybrid. They're half SS and half SW design. I think that's part of the reason SS was discontinued. That and the fact that the G4's and D2's (which are almost the same) are better in the sense that they never leak. Very robust. I was quoted $2600 installed for the TEIN's. HAH no way lol. TEIN Flex all the way, but can't get em. Oh well.

SNAP lol Actually, this could be just looked at from a different way. I guess it is fairly harmless. I just hate the show. In one episode of South Park, Cartman was constantly being teased by an older kid at school. Cartman lured this kids parents into a trap where they were killed, then stole their bodies and ground them up and made them into Chilli Con Carne.
