That always happens on start up. I don't have a burning smell, but a rich fuel smell. Methinks that is the cat making that smell on startup when it's stationary. Start it up, and just drive it straight away shifting at 3,000rpm until the thermostat opens (you'll know that once the temp gauge moves to about 1/4). Then you can open it up more. As for the white smoke? Cars always have that telltale white smoke when they've only just been started up. Once they warm up it goes away.

I can assure you that there won't be a turbocharged Camry 2.4l. This is the first time that Toyota Australia is having some design input into a car from Japan, ie. the Aurion, and even with loads of help from Japan, they are already at their wits end, let alone design another Turbo 2.4. There will be a 3.5 Sportivo though, although I doubt you can really call it a "Concept". As for the reason for not for having a manual V6, let's just say it is more "economical" making them all autos. I dunno. I still think an EG Vti Civic will beat it hands down.

I said that u guys are dreamers about taking xr6 turbos, and i also said that u guys have a good run with xr6 n/a :). Theres is chances taking an xr6 turbo with sportivos it all depends on the driver. I m not saying they are the best car in the world but with 2 good drivers one in tivo and one in xr6t both stock xr6t will outrun the sportivo. :) Russ Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. XR6T's are a different camp. They are in a class of their own. I'm still slightly envious, having a ute w. a L6 turbo motor in it. So awesome.
