  1. Look at the thread below this one dude. /thread
  2. Doubt it's going to happen any time soon. We were lucky to even get 'ANY' aftermarket tail lights for the ZZE122/3 to be honest.
  3. Mitchell's an industrial area filled with floppy titties (both the strippers AND the guys working at half the shops out there have boobs, and they're all bad).
  4. 4 WHEELS OF FURYYYY! I AM TEH LAWWWGIVAHHHH!
  5. I just hope my car is back. Bahaha. *Broom broom in straight line, approaches corner, car drastically boat understeers into a house*

just as im swayed one way someone says something that makes me go the other :( i might toss a coin aha 35mm drop will still make your car look lik a 4WD. Period lol. You can kill two birds with one stone by saving up for better shocks and work them with a set of 50mm springs which would make it handle better, and make it look hot.
  7. Not fuel economy you won't :D It's going to be a lot better than a 2.0L Pinto being fed fuel through 45mm weber carbies that's for sure. When I was driving the escort it was painful, but it made up for it.
  8. I'm glad those guys at Belconnen replaced mine when they did. Warranty ftw.
  9. looks like your making excuses to change to the silvia.. <_< you can always use a different management system with the SC. I don't need to make excuses to own one of those, because I've wanted one for 2 years and realise what my current car is capable of. The reason for me wanting it is because I'll get more out of it than I ever will with the Sportivo, especially when it comes to bang for buck. I don't want to sit around and muck about for months and months while the Sportivo is off the road having stuff done to it all the time. I still haven't ruled out s/c it, but it's looking more likely that I'll stop spending on it now to pave the way for something else. There's only a certan amount of FwD plough understeer that I can handle as well.
  10. becuz it all depends on whether u want to be a sheeple or an individual ..... lol all my s15, evo, skyline mates love it when i call them sheeple .... lol .... well no not really but i do   ..... look each to their own really ..... this is just a nice kit to give the corolla a bit of a kick in the backside. There's a larger ratio of Corolla's to S15's lol

nah not from any places yet besides the original $550 quote, just been too busy, when uni goes back & ive got some spare time (haha uni's so slack) ill def sort it all out Those were for a 35mm drop yeah? Don't be too disheartened if it still isn't low enough for you. It'd do you for the time being until you went for say, a 50mm drop w. replacement shocks (KYB's or koni yellow's etc like stated before). My car was fine on a 35mm drop for 2 years, no probs. yeah 35mm, so did you just have the springs installed on stock shocks? Yep just on stock shocks. They're fine. In all honesty 50mm springs with the stock shocks is fine but they do wear out faster (about a 1 year before replacing them give or take). I will be honest in saying that I was no where near happy with the ride height on a 35mm drop. My mates kept joking with me saying that I never did lower it in the first place it was that bad. But if u consider the good n bad side of 50mm drop..the only good thing is that it looks better.. well this is debatable..depends on what u r really lookin for.. i`m gonna go with 35mm i think :P The lower the centre of gravity the better the car handles ay. Obviously there are several other factors that contribute to a decent handling ride on the street / track, but that is one of them. My coilovers were kept at a 35 mm drop for the drive back from sydney, and I can safely say that it was still 'top heavy' in terms of going around a corner. Richo, a mate of ours here in Canberra, had his stivo on a 50mm drop. I drove it once and noticed immediately that it felt more present going around corners. 'Some' bodyroll is needed still, but you don't want a tone of it lol. That was one of the reasons why I got coilovers. They aren't as stiff as people claim either once they're setup right for the street. My '77 Escort is twice as rough as the Corolla, and it's running a lovells / koni spring and shock combo.

  14. Baha. Bout the only thing fun you 'could' do in it. Boring to drive, unless you mash the go-fast pedal in a straight line.
  15. I agree AzzaCorey. I'm saddened that you guys had to witness such lamness. It's the water cracker of the trd range. Bland.
  16. I might not have the corolla, but I'll definetly come. I could be equipped with 1000 tonnes of Gen III goodness.
  17. Technically an EVO, STi and the R32 to 34 Skylines are based off of family cars. As well as the HSV and FPV line up. Also Rob, stay on topic :P I'm Nelson. I don't have to be on topic. How can you class a 2 door "sports" car as a family car??? Um .... all the above mentioned cars have or have had a 4 door variant :whistling: :whistling: Yes, of course the R32 - R34 skylines were originally aimed at the 4 door market. I think not lol. The skyline was designed as an entry level road sports car from scratch and they played with the idea of a 4 door. If I had a dollar for every 4 door skyline that I'd seen in RL I'd have 3 dollars. I'd have about a fufillion dollars by now if it had been 2 door variants. It's like they did the opposite with the skyline to that of the falcon (making a family version of a sports car, opposed to making a sports version of a family car). But yeah I'll see how I go in the s/c department. As much as I want to hang on to the Corolla though, I may have to part ways with it some day realistically. I'll either become a dad in 3 years (you never know...) and have a family car, or I'll continue being a bachelor and upgrade to something else. The Greddy option looks fun though as the prospect of some custom work makes the interest and learning level go higher. The question is, will Greddy and even Blitz be still making s/c kits for the 2zz in the years to come >.>
