  1. I'm preparing myself for this movie. I've been told that it is more focused on relationships between people in extreme / awkward circumstances. The focus, as funny as it sounds, wasn't on the monster. JJ is a weird weird producer. If you remember, he did the same thing with Lost and the Polar Bear.
  2. I'm going to watch this on Thursday. I get motion sickness bad. Looks like the cute couple sitting in front of me will have messy hair for the rest of the movie then :D

    Will Simo become a digger?
  4. Old news is old. Bill Bill BILL... Roger has been around for years, I'm suprised you haven't heard of him until now :P lol He's known to come on to random car forums and brag about his Dorkia as well. Just pray he doesn't come here. I think SAU and PGA had issues with him at one point.
  5. They don't look like an echo when they have a kit, grille, eyelids and dumped on jdm rims >.> If anything I thought the back of them was very Golf like.
  6. Toyota, on a massive whole, are letting car enthusiasts down. No decent Corolla so far after the sportivo, pathetic after sales service*, and to top it off they will most likely NOT be releasing this mysterious new gen. Supra here (oh suprise). *A member here had his aerial disintergrate to pieces due to faulty fitting and they wouldn't replace something as small as that. Pathetic.
  7. That's what I've been thinking dude. If I have to unbolt mine and send them up there though I won't be doing that lol. I became very confused at their pricing option on it.
  8. yeah id recommend on buying the muffler aswell. cause the muffler and components in the system were designed to work together. so if you havent got the same muffler it may be to loud or not perform as well. I know why they made the muffler the way they did. I'm not forking out an additional $650 for a muffler though. I have someone who can fabricate a box for me already that's why I only need from the engine to the start of the muffler. I'm happy giving an Exhaust place in Canberra the opportunity to design something here. I'll be the guinea pig if it comes to that.
  9. I'm in talks with them currently. Still a tad confused after the email I received back, but from what I gathered I have to trade in my existing headers and pay for the new ones? Plus with the catback, I asked for the exhaust piping minus the muffler and they seemed intent on selling the muffler with it.
  10. I know... Spoiler below: They call in Amanda Vanstone and she acts as a counter-agent to the monster (ie: she systematically eats it) /end movie

    Well done dude ;)
  13. Looking back on this, I'd still take the Corolla over a Commodore. Corners aren't loved by the Commonyob.
  14. to tell you the truth jeremy i sorta wish i went with lows because its not worth the hassle. my car scrapes at most drive ways and speed humps at shopping centres. also i got pulled over a few months ago and a police oficer gave me a defect warning about my car being illegally low. planing on raising the car a little when i get some coilovers. but jeremy if your gonna go with like 18" rims then with superlows you should be fine. it all depends on what size rims you get. Those cops can go fap off elsewhere. My ar5e superlows make the car illegally low. It's a 50mm drop yeah? 60mm drop and then you're in 100mm clearence territory.
  15. It has Jim in it. That's enough for us :)
  16. I have many things to say about Toyota Belconnen. Look forward to the setup Steve.
  17. Big wheels are big. Jeebus they look like 20's or something. 17's or 18's and nicely lowered over massive rims imo.
  18. Greetings newbie /pat It has already been proven that honing / porting the stock headers and adding a 2.5inch catback to the 2zzge vastly improves it's low end response and gives a 5 - 9 odd kw increase on what you have already. If you want a better system then go for it. The stock one is already nice by all means, but if you want something more responsive then the above is the way to go. (Cannon mufflers have proven to be way too noisy to have on these btw. They're instant defect material, unless you have a silencer)
  19. Judging by the model name, makes sense >.>

    Agreed. lawl @ AVO
  21. It's the Mr Bigglesworth of mufflers. It's a kitty in terms of noise. Just nice. I could care less about cabin drone etc myself, which is why I won't be bothering with one. You get used to cabin drone on some of the other mufflers (Magnaflow etc)
  22. If you slip the clutch you're losing ground doing that technically aren't you? I wouldn't bother. I've only managed to land on 6,000rpm in some freakish circumstances (sometimes on a decline down a hill). Always keep the revs up if you wish to stay in the powerband also. It's not possible on paper though as stated before, but different conditions or mods will allow you to do it. In a way, your friend wins the bet as you would be able to land lift by slipping the clutch, but... I mean, slipping the clutch is just ghey. Just shift and slam yO :P
  23. I'm wondering whether they are a straight through or not. Drone to an extent is fine with me. As long as it holds a nice note I'm happy at the end of the day.
