C-rolla

Hey guys, Ive got 215/45 r17's n i just went on a 4 hour drive through the country and i have lowered my car with kings springs low, so 35mm drop. I found that at about 110+kph there was quite a bite of vibrations, but i figure its not very often that i travel that fast so i dont really mind, but i agree there is some vibrations at those speeds with those mods. But its all good.. the car still looks good and handles much better. cheers just my 2c's C-rolla

Hey... handling's much better but then anything's better than how it was stock. comfort... its firmer and nicer on the road its not so soft, abit harder ride = nicer ride. over all its a good combo for a car that is a daily driver. low enough and handles great. Cheers C-rolla

Hey man, I got a similar story, the day i was supposed to get my mags i got phone call saying that the wheels had been sent to sydney...NOT PERTH! had to wait nearly 2 weeks but they eventually arrived. Your wheels look sick much prefer those to the other option you could've chosen. Let us know what you think about mine i just posted pics aswell. Hey mate, quick question.. how are you finding the tyres your running? i recently purchased a set of rims to and they are coming with the same tyres you have (nexen N3000's).. what you reckon? they been good? great looking rolla btw.. cheers C-rolla

1300 is great price with tyres, was that new? Must be old stock that the perth guy had as sppedy have no lite 7 left in the country under there control, they are sold out, unless the tyre outlet has a set in stock. They only have one magnesium color left in 17 x 7 , heaps of 18x 7 left though. I wanted magnesium but the gold work with the silver stivo cause of the machined polished lip. Hey Mate, yeah they are new.. i got to wait 2 weeks for them to be delievered. but oh well worth the wait i reckon . ill post some pics when they eventually get done. cheers C-rolla.... P.s would love to see a photoshop of the magnesium wheels on a black rolla. ;)

I dunno where to find the load rating... all i see is in my glove box, it says 195/60R 15V 88 so i dunno.. ill just take it to be what you guys said like 83/84 so no biggie.. where do you guys go for tyres?? i wanna get these rims but the tyres hes put in the package are dodgy.. something like 205-40-17 80w with Kumho Tyres. so i dunno so any suggestions about places/ specific tyres would be much appreciated. bear in mind im not a circuit racer or millionaire. just a 20yr old with a corolla ascent. any suggestions would be much appreciated.. I've phoned around a few places n ive been quoted about $280 per tyre for Dunlop 215/45 17'' tyres with the correct load rating.. for the rollas the load rating is 88.. is that expensive or reasonable? i have no idea about this stuff when it comes to tyres.. Cheers C-rolla??

thanks for such a quick response, my rolla is december 03 but im lookin at puttin on 17's and the guy quoted me 205-40-17 80w tyres.. but i dont want unroadworthy tyres.. so what would the best tyre size be for a 17x7 wheel. cheers C-rolla

Damn...out of all the Corollas in Melbourne, you spotted my one damn nice rolla you got.. spotted it through heaps of traffic, great colour and wheel combo. C-rolla.

when i was in melb a few weeks back Spotted a light teal blue/green rolla i dunno what the colour is called looked like 18'' 5 spoke HR white rims, on my way to springvale (cyber century) on [P] plates.. but i'm back in perth.. i spotted "saintz_01" as he lives about 200mtrs from my house:) cheers C-rolla
