  1. it all depends what you need from a car if you need space to move stuff and 5 grown-ups, get the aurion if you just need to run around with other half, go back to something smaller (rolla, yaris) btw, i'm single and drive a camry. main reason, POWER, Manual, V6, room in the boot for 3 dead men :P

  12. we went Via Bells Line of Road and it took us just over 1 1/2 hours from Richmond with a 'pee break' in Lithgow Came back via the GWH and it took the same maybe slightly longer because you can only go 60 for a lot of the way. yes yes, damm the road works and damm the hippies! dunno if you guys noticed the signs in Laswon. "DESTRUCTION OF A HISTORIC TOWN". wish the whole thing would burn down, 2 lanes to bathrust and be done with it
  13. from the bottom of the mountains (penrith) to bathrust, 2hrs easy :D

  15. hey if dyl (blue_stivo) can make it, anyone can no whinging bout distance! hell i'm 1hr away (blue mountains) and I make it (cept for last month) so see me there :D
  16. I dont think you can shove 6x9's in the front (not enough space) Personally, if you need a spacer, make one out of timber (even MDF or Thin Chip board). It will give you a better freq response than plastic I had to use spacers for fronts (6"speakers), rears (6x9's) and compared to plastic, 1000x better. Just make sure its BOLTED down properly, otherwise you get a rattle :P
  17. so camry's aren't cars now eh rudeness noted :P *update* Simple Cover
  18. * SALAD DODGER. An excellent phrase for an overweight person.

  20. that would be rude if I just showed up. However, if i came in a birthday cake.....well......that might be a diferent story :P
  21. My one point in all of this: Toyota Aurion: Standard aircon across the range VE Commodore: 2k extra on base model (Osmega) *need i say more* we live in Australia, Aircon in cars built here SHOULD be a standand. If fact, I think you find it hard to spot any current model Toyota that DOESN'T have aircon as standard equipment. Even a bsae model Yaris has it! case closed Thanks BB ^^
  22. get that price down!!! even if it comes with a fair amount of kit / toys (that still work), i wouldn't be paying that amount of money for such an old car note about the aircon, you may get a RPM fluctuation, because the engine has to drive the aircon compressor (should happen with any car with aircon) but if it idle's roughtly with the aircon on, then there is another problem
  23. note to self: demand and pester becca till she hands over the pics :P
