fark sounds like a painful job. guy who did my tints said i should be ok if i go to a vicroads that doesnt have the pits to fully check my car out and if i provide the paperwork from the muffler place in addition to the paper work from the tinters, then they will generally not even bother checking the car.

ok tinters checked my tints at front and they're 22%??? wow that's queer - they're currently putting on 35% now.. least they're not charging me for them.. but sigh, they're not going to look as good. oh well, not going for "stealth" any more.

got myself booked in @ 3pm with tint-a-car to get my front tints checked and if they are at all over 35%, they're going to switch them for something slightly lighter - gay.. i like the darkness of my tints currently. They said that the reason why it could be slightly over is due to my car already having a slight "tint" to them prior to installing the midnight express film..

let's just hope i remember which parts go where for the stock airbox since it was johnnieboi who helped me put on my injen lol.

CAI is considered "engine modification to increase power".. which isn't authorised for P platers... ffs. they really like to limit what we P platers can do to our cars...

guess i'll need to throw the stock airbox in temporarily before i bring it over to VicRoads then.. sighh.

wasn't defected for my CAI but the cops didn't tell me to pop the hood so they didn't see it.. however, will there be any chance that VicRoads pop my hood if nothing on the defect notice is in my engine bay? :S

Well, I went and got another muffler/resonator added to my exhaust setup to try quieten her down a bit, which it did.. the deep sound of the exhaust is still there (thank god).. but she's much more quieter on idle and from 1k-2.5k rpm. Now I got to get the tints sorted out and head over to VicRoads.. such a pain in my ahole.

I thought it was 90dB - going by what they mention in the EPA guide.

I dont know how I would have annoyed them, when I was just driving down Burwood HWY normally as I do without any hooning. Bloody ****** off as balls man.
