get a tape measure and start measuring holes,
as for the power seats; not too sure if there would be some wiring harness' along the side
-

Yeah I might check the tinting films out as well. I have asked around and for what I am wanting to do, the response has all be the same. It's a bit of a grey area but as i'm not tinting the light itself, just the surrounding parts, it should be fine.
film is a good idea too, ive done both VHT and film, personally prefer the look and finish of the VHT, also the film was annoying to do as lights have curves, so i hope you have enough patience.
tints
VHT
Illegal, why? He won't be tinting the actual lights, only the surrounding part. It's much same as if you paint insides of your headlights black (not the reflector parts of course).
illegal because it "hinders the vision of road users"
also we in straya, everything is illegal here.

I assume I could continue to apply layers until i get the desired shade of black or does it have a point where it will no longer get any darker?
usually 3-4 layers is good enough, it gets pretty dark. With normal carwashing and daily duties, itll last a good year.
also do note that this is an illegal mod.

uhm, where is said clutch accumulator i can have a look at mine i guess.

go up into a wall and you should see the light line,
the left side should be higher than the right side.
Im not too sure what the "legal" height of the light shined is supposed to be though.

can you afford the fuel usage ?
For a non turbo? For sure. Not gonna even worry about a turbo/TT supra because i can't drive one anywayNice, thats 15L/100km you think you can afford. (Used to drive a skyline when i first started driving, @300kms per tank ... it wasnt really a smart choice driving one for maccas pay)
now as per above; insurance will raep u, car is old so its gonna break down more than usual (if uve got mechanical experience then itll be a bit easier) so you gotta pay for repairs/parts etc. Want to turn heads ? sure, even cops will look. Just to keep a few things in mind.
My opinion is, get something cheap and reliable, which will do you for a few years and when you can afford it buy a decent car that you can afford to run.
