  1. 37, dole bludger. Hobbies include spending time in the dungeon and giving out free candy to the children.
  2. Tuesday to Friday this week has been hectic!!! - Stripped the car right out - Changed rear toe bolts - Changed rear calipers, pads and rotors - Changed to braided lines all round, newer corolla ones on the rear, celica ones on the front! (ffffuuu HEL) - Swapped pads and rotors on the front - left to right - so rotors are now facing the right way - Changed driveshaft - Changed front left hub - Changed gearbox oil - Changed air filter - New wheel alignment - New tyres fitted for monday Car feels tremendously better! Heaps more grip than before even on skinny kumho tyres!! and there are no brakes at all.... that is until theyre warm then they're friggin fantastic!! Also a couple of pics, because i know how you all like pics! Tried on 10mm spacers on the rear for lols... its a bit too much poke for my liking, still didnt rub much though :P haha New tyres... Old vs. new axle... longer one was axle binding as it was too long :( Stock vs. HEL brake lines... rears fit perfectly fine, the fronts didnt... luckily used Jo's Celica GT4 front braided lines which fit better than the "AE82" ones... Tyrepower North Melbourne doing their thing!
  3. Hai guise, i hev n old car... ken i hev n opinyun 2? I jump out of my AE82 and constantly drive my parents and some of my friends cars. Im the first to be shocked by luxuries and differences from old to new. I didn't really notice the lack of visibility at all. Ive driven everything from the new corollas, to lifted 4x4's, to a van with no rear windows other than the one right at the back. Never had an accident, never reversed into something and never mounted a kerb. The years of driving experience you've had means NOTHING. I know 15-17 year olds who can drive the pants off so called 'experienced' drivers.
  4. Your mirror has more accessories around it than my whole car...
  5. Our group is confirmed to get our own time on the track. :D
  6. ^ same as mine yeah? AE82 is heaps smaller so that probably why haha
  7. yaay!! Also may have Rob and Pete join us in their corollas. still waiting on a reply
  8. Love my oversized mirror, takes some getting used to and your sun visors may get in the way but its a small price to pay when that rear view vision is crazy!!
  9. hahaah Phil thats a completely different ball game! :P Generally all wheel alignments on factory cars tend to wear the outside edges of the front tyres, add camber and make toe nuetral.
  10. Thanks guys! :D Noodlez, i no u wunt wun. ;)
  11. After drooling over a certain KE70 I have always wanted a particular set of rims, so after waiting patiently for a few months the perfect set popped up for an awesome price. So I made the trek to Sydney to pick them up. The car used oil more than it did petrol (went through almost a litre on the way up, and another on the way back down LOL) and had axle binding issues due to my new driveshaft being a too long. :( Regardless we made it up and back in one piece, although I do have a sore back (dem NSW roads...) and am still sweating and dehyd thanks to the lack of A/C on two 40+ degree days!! hahaha Hayashi Streets 14x6.5 effective offset +3 with 10mm spacer (originally +13) 14x7 +7 Running a 175/65R14 balloon KH15 tyre. haha They do need a polish but Ill get around to that after the track day... A couple of people said I shouldve gone bigger but for some reason i love a narrow tyre on the 82's :)
  12. What Kenshin said, it looks worse than what it is. :) And its a track car... why would i need carpet? :P
