C-series gearboxes are pretty sensitive to quick changes and skipping gears thanks to pi$$ weak synchros... My old AE102 crunched every time into 2nd and 5th lol Get an E58 if you want it to be bulletproof...

It might be ok for track use apart from a tiny loss of power. Keep in mind, oil does thin with heat and more use. But as mentioned, youll be putting more strain on your pump.

There are other factors such as wheel alignment, type of usage and weight of the car that factors into longevity more so than pressures... every car and driver is different. Also he is asking about the 'floatyness' not the longevity... let me clarify once more, he wants better feel.

Nothing camber wont fix. I tried same specs as yours on my car and they tucked under perfectly and the rim was flush with the guard.. AE82s have tiny arches too. I also tried 8.5 +8 and that was just a tad too aggressive...

Nice car man! 20 valves arent hard to find but with most of them you will need to give them a freshen up...

W58's bolt right up with an aftermarket bellhousing adapter. I havent heard of any boosted 1UZ's, if they were good people would obviously be boosting them more often. If you want boost look into the 1JZ. ;)

Ive got a friggin stiff setup of 10/8k springs, you can feel everything in a car that weighs 950 or less depending on how much trim i have... passengers always complain haha Coilovers are really easy to find for these aswell since the suspension setup is almost identical from the AE92 to AE112, so anything between (AE92/AE101/AE111) will fit. You can get 2nd handers from japan for about 600ish (shipped) if youre patient and have the right contacts.
