    So i finally I've got the lights back sprayed in a jet black. Its unbelievable the difference its made to them. You can literally see your reflection in them. A little bit of dust on them at the moment but will give them a good clean before they go back together soon :)

    Yeah once some funds free up in the new year maybe ill start on the rear tails. For now the standards will do. I got a call from the shop today and the lights are painted. Machine broke or some b s so took a little longer then expected. Picking them up Friday so ill probably drop them off Saturday arvo. Should look the business

    Haha Luke gotta keep it a little bit unique from yours ;). How much better did the clear ones look tinted though. I need that look. All in good time :). Thanks van.

    Here you go mate. Harder to find then you'd think. If you can get rid of the grey and make it black as well that would be good because thats my plan atm. Oh and Blackened reflectors too. Thanks bigVan

    Just something for you to think about :P. Time will tell ! Do you reckon you'd be able to photoshop some clear tail lights on to the rear of a white trd? Just want to see what it'll look like once the bars on

    Yeah I get where your coming from with the HSV thing. But if that's what the aurion starts to look like after a few subtle changes then that's what happens. The car has a mind if its own. Keep in mind that the bottom won't be completely blacked out. Just looks that way because its a black and white night time pic

    Lol Van now that's sitting low. Just noticed the dual foggies as well. Nice touches. Unfortunately I think it's a bit unrealistic. But I also said I'd never lower my car ;)

    A forum member had a trd that he was parting out. Originally I just wanted the spoiler but I got talked into getting the rear bar by my mates

    Yeah havnt thought about ducktail only. Might have to be a photoshop job. I'm keen to get the trd spoiler on for the time being.

    I disagree. At least needs a ducktail. I'm not a fan of the spoiler less option sorry

    Yeah the spoiler is getting replaced by a trd one as well. Basically the whole rear will be replaced.

    Actually going to get it painted legit style. Also getting the fog light surrounds and any other bits if black plastic painted in a gloss black. As for the rear bar I just got a trd rear bar and spoiler that I will be painting and installing soon.

    Yeah I see what your getting at with the Holden taste. Yeah I love it. Will deffinetly be getting it painted up hopefully before the new year

    Ok so we finally have all the bits and pieces we need but a new problem occurred the other day. Apparently the chrome on these lights is so thin that even a finger print will start to mark it. So after a quick brainstorm we decided to dechrome the lights and take them to a pro to get them resprayed in a gloss black. Spent about 20mins sanding back the lights in prep for the painter on saturday. Should have them sprayed by the end of the week (if they ever get out of my boot :))

    Yeah not sure if that'd work. Sounds like it would require a bit of hack and slash. But for a 100 bucks if you have the skills to pull it off.... Good luck to you :). Let us know how it goes
