But don't u think it's like an evolved version of the r34 lights? I like new car designs that resemble previous models, but give that extra ZING that makes it "new and improved." The rear lights of the r34 to me were distinctive enough to keep as a standout feature of the new model. That's why I'm happy with it :)

Well I wouldn't think it necessary to check coolants and oils 2500km's after a service... The temp gauge was perfectly fine and the only reason I bothered to check was because I noticed an "off smell" similar to a burnt clutch or hot tyres. Oil was fine too. I got lucky by not driving it any longer than I did.

I just had my water pump replaced last week (along with a fan belt) and cost me <$500 for parts and labour. The car was serviced at the dealership at 90000kms and 2500km's later i noticed my coolant resevoir was empty. The car wasn't overheating, but i didn't like the idea of driving around with no coolant being pumped... They argued that the pump would've failed after the service even though it was only 2500km's later... Anyway, it was considered wear and tear so even though i had taken my car to them everytime, and used genuine toyota coolant i still ended up with the whopping bill :( My car's out of warranty, so i'm curious to know if it would've been covered. Even still, it's the labour that killed me.

Ok even I think that's getting a little too technical. Venom's a bad guy nonetheless. I remember seeing an episode with venom and carnage building some sort of ray gun to destroy the world. Seemed like an awful lot of effort to just kill peter parker. And besides, don't u want the movie to go by the way u described venom's storyline? So it makes sense if spider-man gets the black suit first. As for the armor suit! hahaha that's just funny That's from a futuristic spider-man where he has this ironman-type metal suit. The one I'm thinking about is silver and black anyway. Probably unlikely they'll down that road... Btw, I think Topher Grace (aka Eric Foreman) is playing Brock. Hi all, Just thought i'd post up some news regarding the new spider-man movie due in 2007. I thought it was gonna come out this year, which is why I got all excited! I went surfing the net for pics of this mysterious "black costume" firstly because i wanted to see if such a costume even existed and also because i wanted to know if it was even black! hehehe Anyway, this is what I stumbled upon... http://www.savingfaceforum.com/index.php?showtopic=21218 So... it appears that a new costume is due and that its.... blueish This would explain the new site recently released by Sony where his costume's flashing blue. I think the "Good Charlotte" haircut is supposed to show his evil-side from the new suit. So what are ppl's thoughts? I personally was disppointed because the costume's not a slick "black" with a big white spider on the chest (maybe they're saving that for Venom).

Danz, I remember seeing a pic similar to that one, but it was definitely in and black & white, and was announced as a fake photo. I think what sony is doing is "teasing" at the fact that he will at some stage wear the black venom costume. Not necessarily "black black," in fact, I read venom looks purply. If anything, the suit will be the same colour as venom's so maybe not black, nor dark blue, but PURPLE hehehe Of course, I'm sure they'll make the purple look WICKED :D I'm a big fan of the spiderman movies!

Hasn't the iron man movie been in the works for a while now? I can just see in a few years, once every superhero/group gets their own movie, that they'll do a justice league sort of thing. Did any of u guys see the spider-man cartoons when he joined up with the fantastic four and i think iron man and also storm from the x-men??? It was a crossover series of episodes.

Yeh, I always liked the wolverine vs sabertooth saga. Couldn't believe how poorly they did sabertooth. I thought the whole thing with wolverine's memory loss and how he joined the x-men was done pretty accurately. He hates cyclops, he loves jean. Thumbs up for that. Rogue and logan? ok, dunno where that came from. Was there even a Gambit in the comics? That might be why they originally left him out. Maybe there's too much backstory to throw him in? I've noticed that in the new x-men cartoons hes as a bad guy with magneto...

X-men.... yucky yucky yucky :( :( :( how disappointing. Anyone who liked the cartoon hates it, but anyone who hadnt heard of the cartoon loves it. Every storyline is out of whack, except for wolverine's, which is sort of close. I wish they did it PROPERLY, but hey at least u've got an excuse to see knives comes out of hands, beams out of eyes, ppl making their eyes white and making the weather a little cloudy. I'm just bitter because they even ruined the x-men's theme song Sky news just reported a transformers movie in the making! woohoo! Castings started. Who's Rachael Taylor???

I think it's silly for them to call it a skyline because even though it looks similar to the unreleased skyline GT-R, it's definitely not what a skyline should be (or will be). I mean come on, the 4 door G35 looks like a family sedan :P But anyway, 40k is an awesome price. I'd be very surprised if it sells that cheap. Does anyone have an idea of when the "skylines" will be on sale? The nissan site doesn't seem to hint at anything...

Hi All, Thought I'd see if anyone has actually seen one of these cars in Australia? I thought it wasn't available here, but at the local shops today (in perth) i saw a red one with ....wait for it... SKYLINE and 3.5 (or 3.0) GT emblems on the rear. Weird right? It even had a nissan badge. It's exactly like the car here: http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...ts/4_11_nis.htm I was looking at the rear of it. Exactly the same except imagine a nissan and skyline emblem where the infiniti ones are. Now obviously the owner could've replaced the badges, but do u reckon it would've cost a fortune to import the car? I was wondering if maybe Nissan has imported a few as a pre-launch? It's definitely a head-turned in person. So anyway, would love to know if anyone has seen this car driving around?

The cheapest solution i can think of would be to get an FM transmitter that ipod users use (except compatible with the player u've got). Since ur car's stock u won't really notice the difference in quality. It'll cost u about $60 for a Belkin one. The only downside is u control ur songs through the media player u've got, not through the stereo console.

Have a look at the new Jaycar 4x100 channel amp. It's rated at 4x130(rms) and well under ur budget. I've got the older 4x100 (rms) and that thing rocks. It's been driving the same setup as u want for about 2 years and still going strong.

Romp, thats a wicked price! i wish my car audio shops were that cheap <_< I think u just have to get a pocket that fits a DIN type. aerpro make a few pockets and cd holders thatll fit, but i didnt like their quality at all. i got charged $50 for one, only to find out its all thin plastic and the lookalike buttons are just clips. i shouldn't have paid more than $15 for it. I ended up with something like the second pic from JB Hifi for about $80. Dunno what brand. It was expensive, but i couldnt find anything near as good. This one's solid and when u push the "real" buttons the cd shoots out :D

seems like takumi's learning more about the wrx too! i like how he goes, "i know the weakness of AWD! it is this!" and then drifts around the corner, but i still dont quite get it. someone care to explain? is it that an awd cant drift as fast as a rwd???

i was trying this LFB last week and its funny how uncoordinated my left foot was. i guess it was too used to pressing the clutch so i kept braking too hard and it became VERY ineffective i downshift to 2nd about 15m before the corner and just as i enter the corner i put the clutch in and release it, then accelerate. i find this very useful! and the engine sounds nice! does anyone else do this? im just not sure if this would ruin my clutch???

i think the new yaris looks cool (echo on roids). i wasn't a fan of the echo AT ALL. hated everything about it, except for the digital dash, which was kinda cool. the new front end of the yaris seems to make it look more proportioned. saw it on rove last night and it didnt look as small as i thought it would be, but maybe cos of camera tricks. i just wish they didnt make it so slow...
