  1. I've tried both,

taking off the rear section of the exhaust (the last two mufflers) and it sounded like a commodore straight out of Logan (no offence intended)

taking out the middle section, sounded a bit like a V6 Aston Martin...

personaly, if I could afford it, I'd have three varex, two mufflers behind the rear bar and one to replace the resonator.

gives you complete flexibility and convenience.

  2. In regard to the tractor/diesel engine noise on a cold start, this is common on the Aurion, don't have an explanation for it though.

like Trent said the VVT-I rattle is when you first start it up, for a second or two there is a fast taping/rattle from the engine, I didn't know there was a fix though so hopefully Trent can direct us toward the answer? And when you say expensive...

...is it worth while getting done?

i was hoping the facelift and 50 series had these bugs worked out.

  3. Hey I found out a couple things...

the Blade is available (although very rare) but badges as "Mark X"

also, I found an Aurion avant/estate/touring/wagon.

    possible photoshop?

ill see if I can get some pics up, otherwise just google Aurion Wagon and click on images, should pop straight up.

  4. I'm actually up for a set of 4, so these are the go?

ive had Falken on my Prodigy for the past two years, averaging around 40k km a year, they are ok but wanting something better.

i was hoping to put coopers on, according to there website they make a SUV tyre that fits 215/60R16, but I can't find anyone that stocks them.

has anyone had Michelin, GoodYear, Perreli, Continental, etc. on there Aurion?

is the re003 the best to go with?

  5. Hey, it's there for the models that have a factory sun/moon roof. As there is no space for the dome light, they put it in there and give the rear passengers there own light, but because yours and mine doesn't have a sun/moon roof, Toyota didn't put them in.

i of course had the same idea as you, but I went factory and got one out of a Presara.

just need to get the rear one.

  6. Hi all, sorry to be a pain in the but, I know we all have this issue, and I've been searching for answers but can't find anything. I was wondering,

does the facelift 40 series Aurions (late 2009 and up) pull left?

also, does the 50 series Aurion pull left?

is it the camber bush or the caster bush?

and has anyone got a fix?

  7. Sorry Trent but I disagree, my prodigy is no TRD but when you put your foot down it gets up and boogies, regardless of if its in drive or sport.

there has been a couple of times that it has had a less aggressive acceleration but it's not like it's driving miss daisy.

i have also found that my floor mats (stock Toyota and R.M.Williams deep dish) occasionally stop the peddle from going all the way to the floor.

  8. Ok, so why not try both?

that way your cold air should stay cold.

or have the intake down low (although this cold possibly suck up water) then run it through an intercooler (which should cool it further) then wrap it (which would keep it cool) so the it should be really cold. This would give better power and economy.

  9. So I just had a gander at the magic book of which I can't post because I got in trouble last time (I'll speak to Trent to see if I can arrange for it to be pored somewhere)

it looks like the only difference is a few cables, an ion generator, the solar sensor I'm pretty sure you should have if you have auto lights, a/c room temp sensor...

going on the diagram it's all the same otherwise.

  10. Hey guys go have a look on YouTube for " Hyundai Genesis unpioleted convoy" not the exact term but it should pop up, really worth a look.

i do like the car but still can't bring myself to buy one just yet, reason being is quality. Now hear me out, yes they have come a long way but still have yet to get there carpet right. Now I'm a Detailer so I deal with hundreds of cars a days and Mazda, Kia and Hyundai have the worst carpet I've seen. Now I'm not having a go and it's not just about the carpet there are other things to, and you're probably thinking big deal poor carpet..

it is a pain in the but, take ages and you get nowhere, and it seems stupid that you spend that sort of money and don't get decent carpet. You get better carpet in a yaris.

but having said that, if they fixed that and a couple other things then yeah I'd consider it. Love the Technology in it.
