line locks? what da heck is a line lock?

Does anyone use OCTANE BOOST? i was contemplating on using OCTANE boost every 2 tanks.... using the premium fuel.....we're running 98 RON. plus octane boost....possibly running 100 ROn, which is what the japs use. What you guys think?

when i got my levin and asked for an upgraded alarm... they installed a whole new one. i thought that 'was' the upgrade...a new alarm....isn't it? sum1 explain what their 'upgraded alarm' was? i was thinking of getting one that was remote start and really fancy and stuff....hehehe.....it's just cool. like a boomerang one.

i used to have a car that was to low..and it annoyed the crap out of me. i want it to be a little lower than standard...but not too low... 1" - 1.5" is fine for me. so 30mm sounds good. Did you have to roll the guards?

my new baby's ETA is 2-3 weeks. end of dec to early jan. end of dec = christmas early jan = my birthday either way is FINE! hehehe (i did the right thing, right????)

Today..i said good bye to her.... today...was my last day with her... today...was the last time i raced her... today...i handed the keys to my 2002 Corolla Levin to the dearlership... Today...she was gone. PS. i really wanted to see how she went against a Stivo... She's served me well...and made me proud....doing the things people thought she wouldn't do... I hope my stivo will make me just as proud... (Driving a bright red Conquest Hatch courtesy car......AUTO!)

2,000km....really? :( yeah, drive the car a little harder..but....i wouldn't race it till the 10,000km service.. :(

i run it in according to the book for the first 1,000km. from then till 15,000km i don't redline or anything. that's what i've done with my levin..and it's working great. plus..i do every 5,000km service. change oil everytime with synthetic... rotate, balance and align all 4 wheels each time. it cost me a fair bit per service..but it's peace of mind for me. Yes, i admit, i'm padantic....but i don't care...i feel better! :P :P :P :P

heard...that.... Pedders SportsRyders are MONROE shocks....(rebadged and resprayed) anyone heard this b4?

steering rack problems? i've NEVER had any problems with my car...wat so ever.. well..maybe a little queak on the driver door..that's it. i think it's only with the stivos... i think...not sure..

ah....yes..i agree Bill... BUT..... if max power is 7800....then...if you shift at 7800...by the time you've shifted you would've have dropped 1,000rpm on a good shift...and 500rpm on a better shift and next to nothing if you can shift perfectly. (well..that's my theory...correct me if i'm wrong) :P So...because we get the extra 400rpm...that means that...once you rech 8200 or rev-limit..then you shift..you'll already be at maximum power....but..if you shift at max power..you'll drop out of it...thus...shift a little above max power. that's what i do..and it works great! :D :D ;)

i'm still up for it..but i'll ask around to see if we can get it from other places. if you guys want performance stuff go to w w w.suprastore.com they got heaps of stuff for the 'stivo' or as they call it..the Matrix XRS
