Well i guess i'll start at the top and work my way down :P

Alpine has been a good brand for a long time now, previously only sold in car audio specialist stores. but now JB HIFI are selling the alpine brand and they go through alot of stock, so i wouldnt be surprised if the quality goes down hill trying to keep up with demand. I hope not they make really good amps! Another reason why i chose Pioneer for my monitor was because of the high quality of there T.V's. they seem to be one of the best on the market.

I had thought about buying that engine but the work had already started, pitty it wasn't posted earlier im up to $4500 for repairs so far the engine was put back in today and apparently there's a horrible noise coming from it or the gear box so they have to investigate that now. Im glad the overtime has started back up at work.

If its me your asking since mid december 06. major engine damage! whoa, what happened? quick version: at high speed the oil pump blew, sent a chunk of metal up with the timing chain. Timing chain missed a cog, valves smashed into pistons, valves bent and one piston dinted. :( just before xmas so i got it to the grease monkeys but they didnt get a look at it till they got back from their brake,(as it was their last week and flat out) when they ordered the parts they were on back order.they had all the parts last week, but need to put it all back together, so im still waiting, :( hopfully this week i'll have it back for the ferry cruise. :D

lmao i think i saw u 2nite but i didint go in bcoz it was a full house so i went down the street lol steeve did you see my "fooli sik" dorfito damage on the rear of the car ?? i was out delivering tofu one morning and...... lol nah that didnt happen. i was stopped at traffic lights and some fool crashed into me !!! i asked him wtf happened and he told me "he wasnt looking" insurance **** is all sorted out and car is being assessed on wednesday morning, i hope they repair wed and thurs, when i get it back ready to pick my gf up after school on thurs or fri at the latest. no car for 1 and a half to 2 days = haaarrdo gheeeey !!! fuuuuuu !!!!!! I still havent got mine back since mid december, :( so i share your pain, but about 75 times more. hopefully this week it will be back in my hands, but they also said i would have it back last week too. <_<

No probs mate, your choice, just thought i'd share some help... Depends on how good at it you are and how much patience you have. If your calm and take your time, and do it properley, then there is no reason why it should be crap.... my mate tried the tint can on his ford tail lights, and it looked ok till he got them on and turned the lights on. then they looked really sh!t.

i buy the energy saving light bulbs, but more for the reason off there long life. i hate changing bulbs especially the ones above the staircase, i need to get the ladder out for them, its very annoying <_<
