  1. Thats not such a bad price for the sun roof if that includes fitting. my girl was quoted 2050 for the 700 version fitted. as for interior im from melb so i cant help there. and for the siliconed rear skirt, id leave that to the body shop That's a really good prices for the 700. I've been quoted many prices between $2200 and $3000. The 300 I've been quoted $1200 for the grey interior trim or $1500 for the matching one. I know you're in Syd, but some rough idea of prices for you to keep in mind. That price was from prestige sunroofs for the 700 hollandia. i wonder how much they would come down from $2050 for a group buy?
  2. That awesome seeing the corolla pass all those porche's I love the BANZAIIIIIIIII! :P LOL :D
  3. check this out . its the 2nd dancer thats a freak, in a good way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcUF3vGgwNc
  4. GIVE IT HELL I SAY! As a sportivo owner its recomended that you get a daily intake of 'LIFT' repeat dosage as often as you can till you no longer are an owner of the sportivo. :P
  5. What a bunch of IDIOTS (police) they tell you to go about things the right way, so you do and that happens . What next radairs on the quarter mile!
  6. Ther's not much of a differance between the 2, although i think the facelift looks a little bit better, not as cheap looking plastic like the pre face. Hmmmm i can feel another mod coming on :) :D
  7. No none do that ive seen,i think it may have something to do with the faces being motorized. all the units bolt on to your car from the side brackets. if someone wanted your head unit they would be there for little while. you have to pull apart the middle of your dash to get to it.

  9. they don't come with it. You have to hook up sat nav seperatly, but it will display through either head unit
  10. jees i hate it when someone, insted of pulling into the big gape behind you, speeds up, squeezes in front of you just to brake 10 secs later to turn in to a corner <_< :(
  11. I have the pioneer AVHP6850DVD. awesome head unit, heaps of differant displays for when your playing music, and as big bum said its a 6 disc DVD changer all in one great unit. the only thing i dont like about it is that it only fast forwards music in continous 4sec increments and doesnt get faster. but how often do you FF to half a song. Anyway it looked the most stylish when i was looking for a unit. i love it. :D just dont go for JVC double din i had that aswell in my other car and i ended up taking it back, didnt like it at all, but if you havent got lots of $$ it is a cheap way of getting into a dvd/monitor There's a picture of the PIONEER fitted on my members ride post http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=9312
  12. I'll have my car back next week, then a few thousand $$ of parts added and then.........snap snap snap
  13. Maybe it's a ploy to get more recruits, as they are down on numbers. Though it still doesn't beat Italy's beastly lambo cop car
  14. Ive seen those pics before there pretty cool, but as far as the dancing goes this is no illusion, it's the weight that he puts on the foot that doesn't look like its touching much of the ground that fools you. eg: one foot looks like it would/should be taking his weight but it's not, it's the other, giving the efect of gliding (very hard) one of my mates can do a little bit of a move that glides like the above clip and it looks awesome. he's a break dancer though so he's got some skills already.
  15. I agree the Great Barrier Reef is one spot you dont want to miss, plenty of islands to choose from and great beaches. try Whitsundays.com.au. If you dont mind going inland, go see Ayres Rock and The Kathrine Gauge. Im going to both, Ayres Rock in march and the Whitsundays in april (honeymoon) i cant wait All of the above you wont see anything else like it in the world :D I love aussie
  16. But the police cant afford to have the chopper in the air 24/7, there restricted to so many hours air time. A chase happening 50km away with the chopper grounded would probably take 10-15mins to arrive.... if the bandid can drive, the chase would be over in that time. and going back to the WRX debate, it was because of the cornering and acceleration that the ss/xr8 couldnt keep up (so i was told), police have to keep to a certain driving safety, and dont forget about all the gear they have in the interior and boot, compare that to a mad man in a WRX...... no chance.
  17. I already have an AWD Territory Ghia so didnt need a sedan... The Ute will also be our camping support unit for all the crap we cant fit in the Camper and the Territory... And the most basic reason I wanted a Ute... and a sedan to the same spec would have been another $5k fare enough, you should have fun anyway. i've always been fond of the fords, ive had the XD, EB and EF previously. They have strong motors The only reason i dont have one now is due to garage space on the house we bought.
  18. Spotted a nice looking white rolla sat night in melb cbd. rims, decals on the side and red slim plates (couldn't make them out i was going the other way) . looked pretty hot!
  19. 2 sausages in a fry pan, 1 sausage turns to the 2nd and says 'jees it's getting pretty hot in here', the 2nd sausage looks over at the 1st and says 'sh.i.t a talking sausage'.
  20. What made you go for a ute over the sedan?
  21. I wish supercharging wasn't so expensive :(
  22. NSW were the first state to get WRX's for the police, due to all the ram raids being done. the badies used WRX's for get away cars and the cops couldn't keep up in the fords/holdens when chasing. They also bought R1 bikes. I think all states are getting an array of differant vehicles now, ive seen all sortes here in Melb over the past few years. Falcon utes, Aurions, WRX's and a few years ago around moorabin area they had a Forester GT. I was told the police stopped buying the WRX's a while ago because of safety reasons. Apparently they didn't hold up to well in a crash.
