  1. Spotted bigbum in lower temp tonight passing bangn's street, i was in a stock commendore wagon going to pick up his bonnet.
  2. Armenian...thats something different, i have half Aussie blood and half Latvijan blood (Aussie spelling 'Latvian'). it's a small country in russia.
  3. I always attack noise problems myself either with foam silicone or spong tape, about $20 for one of each of those 3 items, or you can pay someone $40 an hour to do it. do it your self i say, it leaves more mony for cds :)
  4. That's easy. Methenol! How would methanol run in the sportivo's? or would it do damage?
  5. You may want to delete the number plates before putting up pics of other cars.
  6. That sounds good, it wouldn't be easy to get up 30 cars though
  7. Dont know what you do after a dump but i wash my hands, thus no germ probs, folding for me
  8. Im pretty sure you can get lengths of soft foam from bunnings, that has one side thats sticky. There about 2cm wide x 2cm thick, I've known people to use it for doors on houses that knock with the wind. Brandon most of the vibration was happening between the number plate and the body of the car, the double sided tape took care of that but now what's left is the vibration between the outside of the numberplate and the two bolts... Think I need some washers or something as someone else said. Also there are probably a few peices inside the actual tailgate that rattle around too... You know, like parts of the latch or handle, for instance. And Rollin Black that's a great idea, I know exactly what you're talking about, I might try that! For the screws dab a bit of silicone on them(someone you know is bound to have a tube in there shed), then fix them to the number plate. As for the inner rattels i guess you'd have to see what your playing with. good luck.
  9. There waiting on more stock ? they should get there act togother, they were approached about a group buy a month ago
  10. Im buying bangn's c-one bonnet off him and he said it was only $1700 new.
  11. Sure did and it looks the goods :) , my cars in at the mechanics at the moment so i'll have to wait to get it fitted. Eyelids should be due today too. Xmas has come early :D Did it come with instructions on how to install it? Are you gonna install it yourself or get a pro to do it for you? Yeah it comes with a 7 page parts list and instruction booklet, with a couple bags of screws, rivets, double sided tape, mesh inserts, brakets and a few other things. but it has to be painted first as it doesn't come painted, so i'll pay i little extra and get the guys at the spray shop to fit it. Best be done right the first time.

  14. Frankston Toyota in Melbourne
  15. I have the optioned sportivo springs on mine at the moment (until the d2s arrive) and the cornering is alot better even with a car load, and the bumps arent to harsh with the 17''. but if i were you (with only $400 to spend) id go the king springs, lower ride and just as comfy. i had them on a previous car and was happy.
  16. The part number for the rear skirt (sportivo) from toyota parts is...0815812810 It seems like depending on where you go depends on what you pay, ive herd it can cost $319 or $300 im picking mine up today and was only $220, so shop around.
  17. Ive just gone though all the same headaches as you guys. yes it will fit, its just that they have to say it doesnt because of the exhaust being in the way and dont want a returned melted skirt. your in melb go through frankston toyota they have only charged me $220 as of last week, should be in next week. i'll go look for the part no. to make it easier and edit this post with it, incase anyone else is interested :)
  18. i'll come along and have a go if work permits. need a date to see if my shift will be in the way.
  19. I know EMTECH AUTOMOTIVE in south australia do that kind of thing and carbon look as well, i bought some white dials of them years ago for another car and noticed they did dash inserts. Worth a look, although i agree with the above i wouldn't bother with woodgrain. The carbon look would be alot better.
  20. It all comes down to budget. If you dont have much to spend then id recomend heading straight down to JB-HIFI and going the alpine's as they now stock it, and never pay the asking price as they will always take something off the price to make a sale. if your pockets are full then go to a specialized car audio shop and they should have some top end stuff to get your voice sounding funny. just remember its not loud till you can feel it
  21. yeah go boston i have boston speakers and sub in both my cars pure clarity and volume. if you have more $$ to spend than what your comercial brands go for eg: jb-hfi stock, then id recomend boston all the way, or if you want to get serious go eclipes (not sure if spelling is right)
