  1. A quick visual inspection wouldn't hurt, check each shock and look for any signs of leaks, or build up of dirt in a specific area (like you would get if you sprayed WD40 and dust/dirt collected on it), also open the boot push down putting your weight into it, the car should ideally settle in 1 and half cylces (Down, up, down) then try the same by opening the bonnet and finding a bit of the frame to push down on and see if you get the same results.

Anymore than 1 and half cycles could indicate worn or faulty shocks.

Someone else might also like to comment on this as I'm not too sure if wheel alignment would also give a poor ride if not adjusted correctly.

  2. Looks like we got caught: http://www.illawarramercury.com.au/story/2334928/royal-national-park-hoons-on-notice/

and thanks David for the photos they're awesome!

LOL i don't think we got directly caught, plus lucky for us all of cars pretty flew under the modified car scene radar, they mostly go after silvias, skylines and anything import pretty much.

Still though, will make you think twice before lead footing it around there (I personally don't bother anymore after a bad experience) but still makes for a nice cruise.

  3. Good News guys, recently the dealer contact me about the manufacture has dropped the price significantly.

Now they are doing the price for 247.5 USD ! And I also have the refund on the different.

Just out of curiosity did you purchase these directly from rostra? I assume the recent discount might be related to it being standard on the 2014 facelifted Scion XB (speculation murmur murmur murmur :P)

  4. Sorry I didn't make it today copped a defect last night for bald tyres but got all 4 done today I'll come to the next one for sure sorry once again hope use had a good cruise today :)

Sorry you couldn't make it mate, was a great cruise, Hunter Valley is next :) but a regular meet will be in order for next month I think.

Heyzus Kreest that's Sax (avoiding content filtering here :P), has to be one of the nicest 86's I've seen so far. have to admit though I would imagine runnning on 20's with a 30 profile tyre would shake out any fillings I may have in the future.
