  1. Why are we "smashing" things anyway? Aren't we supposed to respect our cars? Not "smash" them!!!
  2. Oh ok, cool... I don't know about that, I'm thinking it's probably stock springs that are in there, and they feel very very soft...
  3. Ahoy... My 1998 Camry (Vienta) gets about 500k / tank, which isn't too bad, really. Average of 11L/100k's, that's about 60% highway / 40% stop and go... Usually just BP 91, sometimes I'll lash out and go BP Ultimate / Vortex but only when I'm feeling rich...
  4. @jbjb, Were you saying if I'm only replacing the front struts that I don't need to replace the springs? I want to replace it all so there's no one weak part, and have to replace it just as quick! Thanks for your input, though. Got some prices, it's going to be $330 for the KYB shocks, and $155 for the springs. I should go to Super Cheap and get the springs for $140, but I'll see if Wholesale Suspension can match the price =)
  5. Spotted WO-00-HU on Kildare Road yesterday, around 5:30 :)
  6. Thanks for you reply, jbjb! Yeah, I don't think I'll go lowering for now... but I'm convinced something is erky with my suspension mounts because I'm getting crunchy noises, so I'll get that checked out when we've got the wheels off and we can have a really good look at the previous suspension! I had a TR Magna and I replaced the suspension in that with Munroe Sensatracs / King Springs and that was pretty good; I'm looking forward to using something else!
  7. I've organised to buy KYB's for the front and matched up with King Springs... I'm excited! No longer will my car feel like a rubber ball! (I can think of no better analogy) And down the track I'm going to fix the rear up =) Question is, the guy from Wholesale Suspension has offered to lower the springs for me... should I do it? And if so, how much? Keeping in mind it's only for the front Cheers! - Brad
  8. Hmmm, good idea. I need to replace both the calipers and the discs on my Vienta, but gotta fix up the suspension first!
  9. The kid who is getting the Vienta Grande will be lucky (: !!!
  10. oh yeah, don't worry that they've just travelled *** knows how many (miles) k's with a screwed motor, but they'll push it the last 300m? I was expecting a piston through the block like that Nissan :D
  11. That was the most horrible hunk of garbage I've ever laid my eyes on. The person who re-mixed that ad should be tied to a speeding car and driven through a knife factory. My $0.02. (P.S. That was somewhat enjoyable and thought I'd just come in here acting as a critic. No offence, Saif... :)
  12. Hmm, not sure on that one. My CD Player doesn't function when the ignition is not on at least "Acc"...
  13. Not to hijack, but: Mine has also gone but I think it's more of a fuse problem than the actual bulb... Anyone have a fuse box diagram?
  14. Well it was drivable so I suppose that's kind of good... but damn :(
  15. Man that's **** scary Why would you do that? hahaha
  16. Nothing, overly - but if I was in Jason's shoes today I wouldn't be happy with one particular van driver that went into the back of the Falcon (couldn't see if it was an XR6 or not) who in turn went into the back of Jason's tivo.
  17. Fantastic. Thanks guys, I'll be contacting Fortron today and explaining my case.
  18. I saw Jason (XENTU8) on the M2 this morning around 6:20am ... hope you're ok buddy -- hope your girl is still alright :( [Edit: freakin' Van drivers, ay?]
