After talking to my battery supplier for work he has told me that most factory fitted batteries will only last for about 3 odd years. Toyota will warrant a battery from memory for the first 12 months if it's a faulty battery or if a fault with the cars electrical system it may be longer. Azza had his replaced this year due to a faulty alternator.

Personally Carmate's way of doing business is very poor to say the least. I made numerous enquiries a while ago and left a heap of emails and phone messages for somebody to contact me regarding getting a trade account with them but to this day nobody has even bothered to return any correspondance. After that I then started to hear the horror stories about quality and fitment etc and how most of their stuff is a copy of copy etc etc So in a way I'm glad they didn't respond. They've saved me a lot of trouble ;) The only way to go with body kits etc is with the genuine article. Fits like it's supposed to and quality to match. :D

Firstly Danthuyer is no longer on this forum and I am now organising these cooling panels. Depending on where most orders come from I may post them all together to save on costs and that way you can all get together and fit them at the same time. Apart for that happening I will post separate and postcode at this stage will be 4017.

Battery in my Sportivo only lasted 2.5 years before it died. Started the car at 76ACC's Mazda dealership and drove to Channel 9(wife's work) and parked in the car park which is a distance of about 3k's and car wouldn't start. It just dropped a cell that quickly it didn't have enough guts to start the car. They just don't make them to last anymore.....

Well seen as we now need to air the grievances and everyone alse has had their say I guess it's my turn :P Firstly my mind and I'm sure that a lot others on here are boggled at how an ECU reset can resolve a hissing noise That one is going in my all time book of quotes ;) Secondly I was responding to Badboyz comment above my first post where he has mentioned about the Celica boys in the states modifying the stock headers and getting far better gains than TRD ones. This is what CES have done and as I posted have been in the same car with both headers and you can physically feel the difference between the 2. I didn't say the TRD ones don't work but more so they will work with a lot of internal work(also as Badboyz mentioned) Again taken out of context <_< Redliner you then made your smart alec comment about "yeah whatever LOL" which is not what I would have expected of you. I still find it hard that so many on here know so much about products they've only seen pictures of? Redliner you then continued with the whole cost of TRD vs CES etc etc which by this time I realised you obviously weren't thinking straight quoting prices that are totally unheard of? It was then that I decided to close the thread before you and others started usual goings on and hence it was stopped. As for your outlandish comments about me being paid by CES I must admit I am extremely dissappointed as by the looks of things on here if this is the case(which it is not ) then there are members on here who are being paid by Injen,TRD,AEM,Shift Performance etc etc because all of their comments / recommendations are about the same product or company. My rebuttal.... take it or leave it ;)

Underbody cooling panel would cost a fair bit to produce as it's a little more complex than the radiator cooling panel and it's a hell of a lot bigger. I can always enquire about costs but I could almost guarantee it won't be cheap.

Would you like to enlighten everyone on here where you can buy TRD headers for $899 brand new???? Even with my contacts in the industry I can only get them for about $1150 at trade price!!!! So please spill the beans and tell us as there will be a lot of unhappy people who have paid $1200+ for them who would love to know..... :o As for CES headers.... a hell of a lot cheaper for those on a budget :D

If you want 100kw at the wheels then be prepared to start spending money cause you ain't gonna do it with just a muffler. Most I"ve ever seen out of a 1zz is 94kw and that was with CAI,Sportivo cat back, E manage,flywheel and who knows what else :P (hey Pippy :D ) Our forum sponsor CES is about to start production on cat back systems for the 1zz in the not too distant future. :D

Unless your planning on doing some major internal work(cams,bigger valves stroker etc) TRD headers wil noly reap you a noticeable gain with all of that done. On a stock car they do basically sweet bugger all until maybe 6000+rpm. they are identical to standard headers with just larger primary pipes which will knock the bottom end of your power around a lot. As for your hissing noise it's certainly aleak from somewhere and I for the life of me cannot see how an ECU can solve it For the price of TRD headers being expensive as they are and after being in a car with both TRD then CES headers I know which one certainly makes the car perform better as well as making your wallet perform better as well ;)

Only need 4 more people to get a run of these done. A genuine C-one panel is roughly $110 dearer than these so get in quick!!

Rancho's are the ducks nuts of offroad shocks. Seen them in action and they are awesome. But unfortunately there isn't anything that fits our model Corolla's on the market at the momnet.

Just get Rollamods to do the modification and don't be dodgy like some just cutting the standard shift as all that does is make the shift extremely tight as you have less leverage.

From a car value point of view this sort of swap is just like throwing a hell of a lot money to the wind as it really makes the value of the car decrease substantially. It's only really viable if you are planning on keeping the car forever. Personally I hope common sense prevails and Bangn just puts it in an earlier model Civic shell instead of aborting a relatively new Sportivo. But then maybe he has more money than he can poke a stick at!!!

Also remember the Mini works edition is also worth roughly double and a bit of what a sportivo costs new.

When I polished, I polished over everything, then after I buffed it off, I ised a REALLY SOFT toothbrush to brush away the polish residue from around all the crooks & Nanny's...
