  3. didn't know twin cam engines had rockers? :P Ahhhh funny man aren't you
  4. Yep sure is and so is the fact that they get on average colder weather all year round too :D Or is that rain...umm no thunder storm... no thats not it.....snow :P :P :P :P :P :P Crowded House covers Melbourne weather in one song... Four Seasons in one day..... or is that an hour :P trully nice place to visit just wouldn't live there.(got it too good in Brisbane ;) )
  5. Brand new 2zz from Toyota will leave you with about 100 in change from 11K Thats a complete motor from rocker cover to sump.
  6. CCOOLL :P I've heard it's furry sic bro Still waiting for an answer to my original question though Gazoom and some people start trying to twist things into another arguement over you know what.
  7. That'll be another warning for you my friend. TONE it DOWN :( Now would anybody(and I"m looking at you all knowing Bangn :P ) please answer my original question?? Is it a full stainless muffler???Or is it stainless wrapped???????? Oh did you care to forget your 14.58 was done on some very sticky tyres so I"m told??Not all of us are obsessed with being the quickest and quite frankly I really don't care either way but if it makes you feel good then let me be the first to say "well done son...your an inspiration to us all" :D And lets leave it at that.:) cheers Silvabullit. :D
  8. Sorry girls and those who wear their hearts on their sleeves I made a typo and left out the infamous word "Catback". :P :P I would guess that if CES did do just the rear muffler then it'd definately be cheaper than $700 and would be bolt on. Not just a muffler that you would then have to pay someone to make the bends and flange to mount it on the car.
  9. Is that a full stainless muffler or stainless wrapped muffler? Cause that's pretty expensive if it isn't. Then again you can get a CES full stainless system from our forum sponsors from roughly $1000. Makes a full system seem cheap when compared to just a muffler. :D
  10. In gear and handbrake on EVERY time you park. Hate to be the one having to explain to someone why your car rolled into theirs :o
  11. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde..._item&CID=4 I'll post up some more photo's of the car and some of the newer mods in the not too distant future. :D
  12. CES rubber elbow is 3" both ends as stated above <_< You cannot clamp it down .25" to match the 2.75" diameter of the TRD CAI asit is a heavy reinford rubber elbow that doesn't really bend.
  13. The rubber elbow on the CES intake is industrial strength rubber and is about twice the thickness of the TRD elbow. It will not break in a hurry and is a lot harder to fit than the TRD one. Plus the elbow for the CES CAI is 3" on both ends.
  14. Colour code mudflaps, wipers. You could remove badges if you want and paint small things under the bonnet and paint your calipers if you want to as well. All depends on your level of skill and patience :D
  15. Injen one won't fit and you'll be really lucky if Supercheap or Autobarn have a 3" to 2.75" bend of the right radius to fit properly without resorting to overtightening clamps to get it to seal and fit properly. I've been down this road and your best bet is to contact TRD sales to get a new one or try a hose/hyraulic line shop to see if they have something. TRD rubber elbow is very unique in it's shape and I've been unable to get anything exactly the same. In the meantime remove it and wrap it in 100mph tape then put it back on and don't do the clamps up so tight. ;)
  16. jasons car will make too much power for Trev's dyno and mark may/may not have his car so thats two good reasons.. I'll be starting the move into my new house/workshop that weekend. I might drop around during a break, but there's no way I'd put my wagon on that dyno... My car needs to be strapped down, and doesnt that dyno only read to 200rwkw? It reads to 230rkw and I definately wouldn't be standing in front of your car on it lol. :P :P Unless I wanted to be your new bonnet emblem ;)
  17. Yeah I just pm'd him man Lionel. Told him he's better of going N1 or Buddyclub Spec III (bb's garage yo) which are less restrictive. Only you know how good the N1 is Lionel ;) All I hear is you raving about it. It's not necessarily the restriction but more the lack of restriction to create a little bit of back pressure. Some of these outrageous cannons(not all but most) of some 3" to 4" diameter etc etc loose power hand over fist and more often than not make more"noise power" than actual power.
  18. US spec Corolla(same as JCturbo's) are the same as the Aus spec with the torsion beam rear suspension
  19. Some cannon type rear mufflers fitted on a sportivo actually make them go worse and do knock the edge off the power.
  20. Only a few spots left so you better be quick.!! Looks like it'll be another good day if everybody who says their coming shows up!!!
  21. That Gemballa Porsche was qucik down the straights. Wei Wei, you should come out to the next saturday arvo sprint ;) September 16 Was the Porsche a silvery colour? If so then Northy and I have seen this car in action and it's awesome!!!
  22. If it's fine we'll be at the loop(pool!) or if it's raining we'll be at the train. PM a regular attendee of a thursday night meet to find out where they are. JC give me a call and I'll give you the directions B)
