  1. Not sure about that vintage but toyo spares bayswater got a big inventory give then a ring
  2. It's a bolt on the bottom of the transmission pan. I think from memory 14mm socket or it may be smaller 12mm. There are many bolts going around the edge of the pan. But the one you want for a basic drain is the bolt in the center of the pan.
  3. Hi Kate what year is your hilux cheers
  4. Is there a toyota dealer you can drive to? Head over and do a test fit from the carpark with the item. Noted this would only suitable they have the item in stock and not ordering it from elsewhere. Sometimes things look the same but unless you real try you cannot be sure. There was the other posts here someone ordered badges but it doesn't for exactly
  5. Often the small ones take cash. Supplying the item means less labour hours. Got any photos of the scratch? If you're fussy you might like to take it to prestige repairers those have lambos and exotics always in the workshop. But that doesn't necessarily mean they will treat a corolla the same haha
  6. Hers what I know mate mobile dent and scratch repairer will come to u and be under $200 note he paints it on the car and blends in. What means is not a respray from end to end typically the small smash repairers will do a respray for $200 but you might have to supply the bumper removed. More professional smashies will charge upwards including toyota look about 800-1000
  7. If you going to fab your own, if you copy the TRD design it runs parallel to the width of the battery also to note the maf is placed in the middle. Because the tube goes parallel, the TRD desugn uses a 45 degree couple which I've heard can be hard to source. injen and the rest design sweeps away from the battery in an upside down V Path. Then used a straight coupler than 45 deg. To join with the throttle body bl
  8. You are a master at this now. Does anything in the build surprise you anymore? I spot a aluminum radiator! Could you let me know please where I might find one? Cheers
  9. Surely going to toyo they have worked on thst car thousands of times. If u worred bout cost then wait for someon to chime in as I have done all the work myself
  10. PPE engineering have discounted the headers and intake tho the intake is oversized n u need another EUC to run it
  11. Firstly are the white connectors the same? If they are you could try plug n play. If that doesn't work the find woiring diagram for both models and compare the pinouts. If you are up for that sort of homework! I just keep it the same
  12. ~4k the kit comes with chip with tune install is roughly 6 hours
  13. By the way you don't remove the spark plugs but just be careful you don't drip anything into the holes rihh

  15. Just get the gasket from Toyota. You're only going to save if you get it from supercheap but do you want to risk a job not done well and have to do it again because you used another part
  16. It's $60 give or take tax. Pretty easy to do. Take off the plastic cover (don't know why you would still have that on) Discon the plug harness (4 of them) then remove the 4 plugs. Go around the edge of the valve cover to remove all the bolts. And some do have clip for securing another harness so just remember there position. Might need to gently pry the cover up with a screwy. Scrap off the gunk and you will notice 2 blobs of adhesive need to remove that too (those blobs are where the case is joined. Clearly you see the join line). Before slap down the new gasket, put high temp gasket maker on the joins, so you do 2 joins each the size of a pea)
  17. I do have the plastic manifold from a 1zz sitting around. Might just carry that over to the junkyard and see if they got a 2zz throttle body on hand, and see if it slips onto it. But appreciate if anyone can chime in that would be terrrific
  18. That is true. I reckon there are a few original members still around... reading the posts here from time to time, though they may not be as active on the board as they were years ago i guess these core members still going strong with their projects most likely in forced induction which only a few attempted back then.
