  1. still doesnt change the fact that you have to drive a commonwhore.. ill take my heavy rims and small car over one of them
  2. The injen is a true CAI.. it goes down behind the foglight
  3. The simota which started as a nice cheap alternative ($180) has now shot up to around $300+... guess we bought too many of them.. RME1 id be happy to source an Injen from america for you.. they are around $360.. can help you fit it no worries as well...
  4. An aussie guys version of foreplay "You ready love?" p.s. Im aussie so i can pay myself out :P
  5. That had absolutely nothing to do with what was asked.. Now on a better note... There are no tax free areas? (never heard of them) in australia.. You pay tax on everything just about get used to it and move on... not worth worrying about.. if you want to save some money go 2nd hand but almost new.. but there will still be tax etc..
  6. DATE JAN 4th.. not early enough? and again Feb 10th maybe you should have confirmed with me before assuming i would want TRD ones
  7. I never agreed to a TRD logo... was sportivo or nothing for me..
  8. *cough cough* bull**** *cough cough*
  9. kings sport lows.. 35mm drop... Mr muffler in bulleen are good :) they have changed my muffler over several times for next to nothing.. someone is coming to look at my car tommorrow.. (possible sale) so last chance for someone to buy my car with all the mods for $22500.. otherwise ill sell the car.. then sell the mods seperately.. RME1 interested in an Injen CAI?
  10. Yep thats who im with... didnt matter that i had my car lowered by 50mm.. they also know about my CAI :) and have no issues with it
  11. City makes more sense for everyone as it is central... And you only scratch your wheels or bodykit.. if you arent paying attention.. *not a word! black_jet *
  12. Yer they did that to mine as well... although not chunks.. just some small scratches underneath the front bumper.. Yet another reason im not taking it back to Cannon toyota
  13. this man speaketh the truth... last time we split off from toymods and had a ball by ourselves :) this time we all have radios i think :P so makes it even more fun
  14. id be up for a Vic Market meet i get bored easily :).. not that i need to pickup anything... but always up for a crusie especially in the city.. stivo with CAI on lift in melbourne city MAGIC to the ears
  15. mines an 04 and i pulled 4th highest :P over 110kw
  16. Cannon in Heidelberg **** me... they damaged my car more than once.. and they are quite expensive for servicing my 20K was $270 so i doubt your 30K will be $200 Im taking my car to my own mechanic from now on... at least i know he actually does the work and doesnt charge and arm and a leg
  17. Here you go princess... everyone knows that a CAI is one of the best bang for buck mods on the "Corolla Sportivo" we had plenty of stivos there on the day.. stock ones pulled 102-103KW ones with CAI all pulled around 110kw.. highest been 112Kw
  18. Custom jobs can be just as expensive.. Dont forget on the Stivo (im assuming your car is the stivo) you have to consider the Air Flow Sensor.. Its just easier getting a bolt on solution as they have been designed for the car.. My vote goes to Injen.. but im biased :P http://members.optusnet.com.au/megahowler01/Stivo.wmv that sound is from the Injen.. rest of the car is stock
  19. really? tell that to the guys at the last dyno day then, including myself.. stock STIVO 102-103KWs Stivo with JUST CAI 110Kws thats a 7kw diff.. which is huge on a highly tuned NA engine
  20. Should have gone the exige instead.. :P nah seriously nice car.. Have driven one myself.. just like driving a giant go kart on the road :)
  21. 1) TRD, INJEN, AEM take your pick 2) anywhere from $330- $500 3) with a screwdriver and socket wrench 4) A simple reset of the ECU does the trick im happy to install Injen CAI's for Melbourne ppl.. can do it in 35mins now :)
  22. Will void any part of the warranty it directly relates too.. ie. Shocks 1 inch drop you'd be wanting King Lows 35mm drop (which is actually 1.5inches) Superlows is 50mm drop p.s. Dont bother with the Koni Yellows.. save your self some money and get the koni Reds.. only diff is you cant adjust them on the fly
  23. $150 all up? geez thats much much lower than the quotes i got city suspension quote me $150 for a pair of springs = $300 just for springs.. and $290 and fit them and alignment so thats $590 all up for me does that sound right?? the midas ppl havent bothered to call me back Mine cost me $350 Fitted total cost for 4 King Superlows fitted :) so $590 is a joke
  24. i see u are in melb. go and learn from the master low rider danz. he seems to cut all these angles from nowhere and his car never scrapes :P Look again.....He is in brisbane...not in melb, so its a bit hard for him to learn form danz.. look again.. he quoted me... meaning it was directed at me... and I AM in melbourne.. so its easy to learn from danz
