  1. I hope your not trying to downshift into First.. no amount of clutch adjustment will make it go into first while moving.. (well at any sort of speed anyway) Also when downshifting try to match the revs.. makes it alot easier and fun too :)
  2. ill try and make it... ive got a few things done to my car since our last meet... which would have been dyno day for me
  3. Yer mine was From ebay... IND Koncept cost $368 and includes an Injen Pod... Matrix XRS model in Glossy Black :) p.s. with a sportivo.. dont even bother with a Panel Filter.. makes 0.5kw diff most CAIs are adding at least 5-6KW ATW
  4. I ordered the Injen on the 9th January... was in my car on the 12th January :o nice and fast.. I dont think there is a shop in Melbourne that sells CAI's.. you have to order from overseas
  5. I was waiting for the CES one... but the wait was too long.. :) i cant see them been much more effective than the current ones available.. If anything they will just fit better :P although if the price is right.. they may be a viable option for some people

Production Manager Head Baker take your pick :P
  7. TRD CAI = $500+ plus diff pod(apparently the TRD pod isnt that flash.. and wont fit behind the foglight) INJEN CAI = $360 Difference... F#*k all.. american chaps seem to think the TRD is made (or designed) by Injen as for actual dyno results... at the melbourne dyno day the Injens pulled higher than the AEMs and TRDs.. cant really say much about torque.. definetly feels alot smoother.. you're more than welcome to check mine out sometime.. Im in Heidelberg and im happy to install anyones in melbourne.. however i dont know about the 05+ model stivos... but id give it a shot :)
  8. My 10K was free and just had my 20k $250 plus $45 for a wheel alignment (i asked for the alignment) plus they threw in some free scratches on the bottom of my front bumper.. YAY! oh and in the report they listed that they cleaned my air filter... hmmm no toyota filter... when i enquired they said they cleaned the pod the best they could.. my reply "surely a pod thats been in the car for 12 hours cant be that dirty" :P
  9. no need to thank me.. just doing my bit for the forums
  10. i thought he had a panel filter... se technically its not stock <_<
  11. yerp... id be in again.. this time with CAI and stock muffler
  12. stivo tank is 60ltrs.. i get the worst economy here... so i wont comment :) im actually getting worse economy without the CAI.. oh well new one goes in soon :)
  13. I swear the day i have a girl driving my sportivo and she lands the 1st 2nd shift and lands in lift... im going to propose theres something that intrigues me about girls who can drive manuals... anyway.. welcome to all new members.. i think we need some cards printed up that we can slip under stivos windshield wipers... there are heaps of rollas in melb that arent aware of this site and to think.. i was so close to selling my beloved
  14. yerp that would be perfect... perhaps we should decide on a colour combo.. eg. Black throwover with the new sportivo logo printed on it..
  15. Great idea... would love a set of dark blue throwovers with a sportivo logo printed on them
  16. I want these badges... 1 clip in red z 1 runx 2 x red z with metal surround
  17. Definetly want a Runx Badge and also one of those RED Z's that clips into the front grille... I have a JDM Aerotourer grille with the spot to clip it in :)
  18. Bad timing again.. im working 2:30am monday morning.. so no cruise for me :(
  19. Be very careful which cars you bag.. Guy at work has a Mirage.. with Pod filter and full custom exhaust on his Mirage.. (manual) If i didnt have lift he would beat me in a drag.. he pulls away from me until i hit lift.. then i scream on by Its quite a fast little car..
  20. Id love to come..but i dont finish work until 10:30am :( Friggen friggen.. what are the chances of a friday cruise?
  21. IND Koncept will ship an INJEN to your door for AU$365
  22. if you are worried about your warranty then dont even open the bonnet, soon as you modify your car you need to accept that your warranty is gone, cause if you get a hard ***** dealer its as good as gone. Not true! I am fully covered with AAMI, all my mods are disclosed and covered, so long as the parts do not make the car unroadworthy. Normally a pod filter is not acceptable, but being essentially enclosed behind the foglights they are. I also have lowered suspension and front and rear sway bars. I believe Danthuyer has many more mods that are all covered too. He said warranty... not insurance.. insurance has nothing to do with the warranty on your car p.s. interested in this new CAI.. but one question.. will it be cheaper than the Injen? $330 to my door may be hard to beat ;)
  23. How do you deal with dealers who won't listen/hide behind "it works"? You dont go back to them... find another who is willing to do the work Must give a thumbs up to Cannon Toyota in heidelberg.. they have replaced and fixed alot of stuff on mine and eddys cars.... eddys most recent addition a New ECU :)
  24. bouncy? hahah no where near as much as stock.. and new shocks ive already budgeted for 12 months.. im thinking some Koni adjustables like mikes
  25. super lows :) and yes the rocking is now pretty much non-existant
