Hey everyone.. Just thought id share my thought on my Injen CAI system.. I bought it off US Ebay on a friday from IND Koncept and was at my door on monday morning.. Nice and quick.. Cost was $350 Including an Injen Pod that fits perfectly behind the foglight I bought it after reading nothing but possitive reviews about it.. been the most widely used CAI for our cars.. and also pulling the highest Figures in MELBOURNE climates at dyno days.. I dont have figures on hand.. but after a race last month against a friends R34 GTR and i was pulling away in 6th The Injen Fits perfectly and doesnt move around at all.. Overall quality is second to none.. And the SOUND... OMG im in heaven It also has a much better throttle body connection using a smaller firmer Rubber ring to connect as seen here: Which i think is much better than others with the Huge soft rubber elbow that is prone to splitting as seen on others here: I personally had to remove Teknomans after the huge rubber elbow split at the throttle body :o

or you could grow a thicker skin?

Even google knows there are cheaper alternatives out there that provide the same "Noise" and gains

Yer alls good... i never had a problem with handling my weapon in wet conditions... does that have anything to do with your mum? or am i clear?

I hope you're not calling me a rich kid <_< My car was pristine.. anyone who had seen it would have agreed... but i had absolutely no interest in it at all... was advertised for months... then after selling for $22k i had 6 people call me in one day wanting to buy it.. always the way I would have loved to have kept it.. but at the end of the day.. it was costing me too much.. and i would much prefer a business to a car here she is in her resting state... look at that shine! ok you happy... now you have depressed me.. i want my car back... :P

recently sold my blue one.. 2004, 22,000 ks eyelids, injen cai lowered etc... for $22K your friend is asking too much

From what i have seen and been told by Northy it is a basic copy of the TRD layout but wit a 3" pipe instead of 70mm and it has an extra bend where the pod goes on to clear the foglight... The apparent downside is the hesitation or lack of "go" when the car is cold... most likley due to the fact that the pipe is 3" and the airflow past the MAF at idle ect is not enough to make it flow true through th MAF... The US guys with the turbo spyders/celicas had the same issues... some ended up making vanes in the pipe to straighten the airflow into the MAF... others reduced the size of the pipe back to 2.75 My TRD CAI does exactly the same thing when it's cold :o My Injen never did that either..

Gear Selector cables... loose wiring behind the stereo or the Air inlets just in front of the front windscreen... you cant expect a car that revs to 8Krpm to be completely silent...

Nope.. UV are very dim... they are designed to make stuff glow.. not light up large areas..

Yerp... just cut off everything except the red and black wires coming from the inverter.. I got my cathodes from PC Case Gear Cathodes are way brighter than neons.. and easier to hide the switch they come with is pretty crappy... id install one of those aircraft missle type switches up near the power mirrors

If its on the outside of the window.. its not the tinting places problem... somehow you've got a scratch in your travels.. sure it sucks.. but thats the downside of owning a nice new car :(

No it works for everything.. your thinking of dolby NR (noise reduction)

I installed Red cathodes in the footwells... looked awesome and matched the dash perfectly.. Just tap into the ciggy lighter wires.. if you want a switch put an inline switch on the Positive wire.. cuts the power completely

Seeing as toyota only replace it every 40,000Ks.. and an aftermarket replacement is $140+.... you'd have to do over 200,000ks before youd start seeing any savings by going the aftermarket ;)

Mate you can payout which ever car you like... I dont have one anymore Yes car brand new is worth 3 times as more... BRAND NEW.. but at least the sportivos dont drop a few K in value every day..
