Hi there, Well, I finally bit the bullet and got my 100,000km service. I've got to find another mechanic, cost $330 (!!!!) and the only extra stuff to the standard service was change the spark plugs and flush the engine (to remove grimy oil I believe). I took it to Canberra Toyota, mainly because I still needed the recall done on my 2003 Sportivo. Now I've read a lot here about that recall and decided to get the Toyota guys to do it when they serviced it yesterday, BUT to my surprise according to them, the only Recall done on the 2003 was to the dimmer switches. I mentioned that I thought it was more than that and I am a member here, but they said they'd check the VIN number as the dimmer switch recall was only done to some of the VINs anyway..... and mine wasn't one of them! Is this true???!!!! Thanks Jen

Thanks guys, It seems the general consensus from Sunday's Canberra meet is that I need to get the Sportivo recall done, so I'm stuck with going to Toyota to service it. Once my wallet crawls out from it's hiding place under the couch where it's currently cowering in fear, I'll book the service. Urghhh. Thanks again, Jen

From the photos, I think the new Levin is a bit ugly, I'll have to see them in person before I pass the final judgement though. I really don't understand why there's so much concern about the new TRD Toyota. If they bring it out, it'll just make my Sportivo look slow! :P

Hiya, My Sportivo's registered in NSW and they reakon it weighs 1178kg, it was previously registered in VIC and they stated it was 1100??!!!! Where are they getting these figures from??? Did my car suddenly gain 78kgs when it crossed the border! I'd go with Toyota's figures.... Jen

BLU77K Spotted while I was in Sydney on the weekend. Also spotted a black sportivo with a bonnet scoop (??huh??) Rego: BEB33K around Randwick. Sydney seems to have heaps more Sportivo's rolling around than Canberra!

Hi guys, This topic's probably been covered a million times, but has anyone Supercharged their Sportivo? I really want to, but I've been told things can go very badly wrong.....
