  1. i'd say either go for a mac tv, mini mac or grunty pc with digital tv tuner and subscribe to icetv. you wouldn't need a dvd, dvd recorder or tivo, because the above should be more than enough.
  2. do aftermarket HIDs autolevel? it would be great if they do, but they don't. hmm...ok you guys are confusing everyone here. HID is the Bulb or the KIT, and there is no such thing as Auto-Leveling HID. There is such thing as "Auto-Level Projector headlights". Auto-level is built into the Projector (on most new cars). So another word, the Bulb doesn't move around, but the Projector does (not the headlight). all the aftermarket Projector Headlights don't have Auto-Leveling, you can built one yourself (just get a pair of auto-level projectors and replace the stock projectors) :) yeh i meant auto levelling headlights. i wonder how much presara headlights are. dads mate works at toyota. maybe can he fix me up. because i want them to autolevel :) I didn't think toyota sells after-factoryfitted parts. I once asked if it is possible to order a ZR6 with HID and rain-sensing wipers, the dealer said no.
  3. different car, different purposes, 2 door vs 4 door, no comparison!
  4. i usually give it about a minute or more after starting the engine before driving, it is enough to bring the REVS down to 900-1000rpm....
  5. I believe HID as fog lights are illegal in some states. Autobarn sell the Phillips HID kits.. or was that supercheapauto?? from around $499??
  6. I'll give both "convoluted" instruction a try and let you know how I go :) EDIT: Thanks!
  7. it's the same with my aurion. I kept driving for about 20km after reaching fuel gauge needle is on empty and distance to empty reached 0km. When the tank is full, it reads distance to empty about 560km. I didn't tempt faith trying to see how much further I could go before the car actually stops. it is either a problem or an undocumented feature!
  8. why wait for TiVo when http://www.icetv.com.au/ is already here?
  9. I reckon it would look cool if it is applied in bits... especially near the front wheel guard (is that the correct term?)
  10. the blade eh? who will be the first to fit that aurion engine into a 07 rolla? :D
  11. woot! welcome! good to have someone working at a toyota dealership! so let's hear some insider news :)
  12. And don't go hiding mobile phone headphones in there, they can get caught/jammed the cover... luckily i got it out and is working again.
  13. Spotted a black sportivo -> AWS*** on villawood road on Thursday around 6pm. Anyone here?
  14. nice ride mate... that's a pretty good price you paying on insurance considering what you've done with the car.
  15. triangle exhaust... hmmm
  16. two different cars the sportivo and the SRi... however the astra appeals to me more, though not necessary the best value for money.
  17. yeah.... the 300c ruins the shot... best to take a toyota alone or with another toyota :)
  18. meh.... so I guess they test drive cars in tassie??
  19. that's some ride you got there, mate! nice!
  20. that's sure is pimped to the point of no return... looks like it is owned by a chick from the pink interior.
  21. yup.. detectors are illegal in all states except WA and maybe SA... Melb speed/red light cameras are really bad... Syd isn't too bad. The GPS device only shows where FIXED cameras are, but not mobile.. which I guess is the main problem.
