Very much the same from me Baskp, I actually enjoy the standard look of my Aurion's wheels..so I try to keep them looking good and spend the cash on top quality tyres which after all is the only thing between you and the road..so whatever wheels you go for put a bit more thought into the black things on them as they could save your life

Funny thing about economy driving..when we were in very heavy lock down say 2-3 weeks ago i could leave the house get to the main road and barely see a car..easy to get out and back in to my street..this week it is like Pitt street Sydney on our main road and people were tailgating, cutting off, my right foot was getting very testy so i said to the wife we are stopping in the park to breath the air and for me too cool down some..checked the mode button for fuel consumption and was at 12.7 L before the drive now was 11.3 L..grrrrr people are back to IDIOT stage again and we are far from over this pandemic..it is almost like release the hounds out there right now as those who didn't care before it happened are released and back to their old ways..

Good info Ash, and good to hear they are repaying you..I hope the fact that there are still listings out there with the same claim wont suck others into the same issue you had..speaking to my mechanic the other day (as he lives down the road from me) he said most good quality coil packs will for sure give you approx 10-15 years of reliable performance on Aurion engines..quality is always the answer in just about anything these days

Steven I have the same advice as Ash and Tony, i am sure there are Diesel 101 classes available online especially these days with so many colleges offering online classes, there are so many avenues out there on the interweb thingy.. youtube etc worth a search..I am sure if any on here can help they will
Good Luck

Never say sorry for speaking your mind Tony..especially with petrol stations..I try to use the same one always..but have noticed on occasions when I had to fuel up at others, the crappy set ups of washer stations..muddy so called water in the bucket ..at least i think it was water as I wasn't game to move the washer tool for fear of being attacked..LOL

GRRRRRRR!!!!! I hate when that happens Ash..I did look today at the link and didn't see Aurion mentioned so got me wondering so thanks for this post so I didn't fall for it, so very misleading when you bought mate..hope a full refund comes your way and a full apology as wel,l as there is nothing worse than seeing what appears a bargain and then find it not to be as advertised
Bummer

Same as Ash said, I doubt any engine wear if it has been maintained as you said..keep an eye when driving on the temp level as the coolant and fan would have been worked over sitting idling..let us know if anything else shows up

That is sad news guys, I am also a lover of the beautiful manufactured V6, the fact it is powerful, cheap to run, and has the reliability of Toyota's quality has always made me happy and willing to endorse future Camry's Hybrid/V6 combination..and then i read that they will axe it?? Sad Sad Day
yes I agree Ash ..may have to look at Lexus if I ever sell our Aurion which is very unlikely, as they will have to pry my cold hands off the wheel

Couldn't agree more with Tony and Adrian, for the $$ you save you will not get the reliability or quality you would get spending a few hundred dollars more buying something from a Quality Car Audio Store, I am sure if you look online or around your area there will be a good deal out there.
In the end it is entirely up to you and what you can afford
Good Luck

Same issue here..its like crack when i go in to look around.Very easy to lose track of time and reality in auto stores and before you know it you need a trolly to carry all the goodies to the car

Same here Ash all stations have gone back up to around $1,19 on average..hope that the cleaner did do the trick for you..I am hesitant to change stations at times for the same reason you mentioned, I have got to know the owner of our local one very well..and he even had a young lad (I think it is his nephew) outside cleaning pumps down and air hoses, water containers, and windscreen washers were all clean as well..shows some care for the customers

Yes Adrian more than likely Tony will wait until it is needed..I also haven't heard of Camry or Aurion engines cooking themselves from a water pump leak..built to perfection ..sad days now as i wanted so badly to see the future of Aurions built here..but i am so grateful they were, as i love jumping in mine enjoying the feel of the power and comfort every time i get to drive it..even if it is only to get food these days..

Does look good quality Tony..thanks for the Pic's, so how long can you contain yourself before fitting it?

Sounds like you have done all you can do as far as fitment and quality mate..so when you have fitted will be good to see results..for me it is always the drivers side that is the total pain as room for hands was tough..and as i don't have a slave with small hands it was up too me to take it steady and cover mouth when swearing..LOL

Looking forward to the outcome Ash, as something I have also thought about doing a while back when one of my Presara Headlight bulbs died..but went with a higher upgraded bulb..pain in the butt to fit, but did the job with time, patience, and loads of swearing under the breath.
Good Luck

YW Hans, I am sure some will reply if they have done the head unit change, i agree with your statement about having a cheap harness mounted to an expensive head unit, always worth the extra money for something reliable and robust..hope some answer your request soon, I like Pioneer products as have had several and always found them excellent units..this time around i went with Clarion as i liked its features and have not looked back since having it fitted
Good Luck and let us know how this turns out for you

Sort of a last spending spree before going into a financial lockdown [for myself].
LOL Ash, A good saying..As you have been tempting the "MUST HAVE" geek in me lately I had to force myself into lockdown for at least 2 months..having spent on my wife with a new dryer and phone..I am not a wanting person usually but so many good deals are about these days..so I decided to wait..write a list..and then in a few months I will let loose as by then I can say, well I did put you first dear and get away with it LOL
