Yes thanks to Tony for passing on his OCD, his products and advice, I have enjoyed all the tips, products and gadgets of late..so Thanks Tony and Thanks to you as well Ash you also have proven a wealth of advice and knowledge and also the "Oh I must have that" part of me with your recent posts
We all help each other when we can pass on our expertise and knowledge while we are all being isolated at least we are not feeling alone in this, our love of our cars is only surpassed by our love of our Country and it's people.

Same here Ash, petrol at local station was 85.5 for 91..and 102.5 for 95..i have a full tank so will do the same and wait a week..as we are barely leaving the safety of home and when we do it is to supermarket and a small diversion to look at the beauty of my area on the way home from supermarket..so barely moving the needle.
Hopefully soon can get a longer drive in just to escape the 4 walls, and to give our beast a nice run miss those days of grabbing the wife and the dog and soak in our countries delights..

Hmm that was an interesting observation Ash, I have never thought it would have that effect so well done on noticing the lack of squeal, I always feel the Aurion runs so much smoother on the higher grade Premium Fuels..and as it is so dam cheap now I will be filling up more often with the 95 or 98..just need to have the road time to use up what is in the tank right now..sob sob..I miss just cruising around..hopefully soon for all of us

I have the same product Ash..and find if the tyres are well washed first i get about 4-5 weeks normal driving use before they start to go a bit dull and need a fresh coat..for the price and ease of use i love it.. so what goodies did you buy while in Super Cheap seeing all the goodies yelling out to be bought? I stand and listen to my brain grinding over as it ponders Do I need that??..Can i Use that??..always hard to resist sometimes

Well Ash all I can say is I am looking forward to an update down the track as to how this all went..I bet they look brand new now you have done all that work..so hope it does do as you hope it will ..Look after yourself as i think if i did all that work I would have needed several sleep breaks to recharge as my health conditions would never allow me that much energy in one burst

When this pandemic is all over and we are all able to get our beauties back on the road for a decent run, wow so many will purr along and glow in the sunshine after all the maintenance work and detail put into them..I can't wait myself..

So filled the tank today even though it was 3/4 full..the reason is i saw the fuel price..first i had to do a double take as there was NO 1 in front of the price..E95 at 99.9!!!
I just thought WOW..i know OPEC has now decided to reduce production so it will go back up soon but while it is the price it is i now have a full tank, and we got home i took the wife's car and filled it to the brim as well..all in all a happy petrol day, and as her ladyship barely uses her car i am hoping she will now it is full and fully serviced 2 days ago..if not i will take it out when allowed to and have a long drive..miss those days.

TY Guys..yes have now written a huge note to self..a good deal ..yes Tony i notice most are doing the right thing allowing space and time but then you get the few who just don't get it..standing directly behind you or while looking at something just have to grab something right in front of you!!..they won't learn no matter how many times it is said to do the right thing.
I am making sure my wife and I and those i love survive this.
Thanks for the posts will slip out later in the week for some milk bread and W/Washer fluid
Hugs and stay safe all

Totally agree..motivation to just keep finding something to do is all we have right now..even found myself out to do some food shopping ..wandering into local supercheap looking at stuff, wander further looking at stuff..leave... get home and then going dam i wanted more w/washer fluid which is what i first went into supercheap for but forgot to get..brain snap.... but with quite a few people in the store at the time i am guessing brain was more in stay a good distance away from all people rather than don't forget to buy windscreen washer fluid
So will buy later in the week as well as clay bar and mitt after reading about using it properly today... thanks Tony!!
I will write a note to myself to buy those when i do go out again..

Well I never breakdanced but disco was my thing, was how i meet my wife..getting into the club early to avoid the cover charge..dancing all night..enjoying the group dancing and then home late up for work the next day to do it all over again..wonderful days..simple days..memorable days, things were easy life was long and days seemed forever..now..looking back with my wonderful wife beside me..the best days..we have been playing a lot of old music last few days to pass the time and remember those days..as we now have a life threatening virus haunting us all..let's remember what we are doing this isolation and social distancing for..so our children and grandchildren can experience days like we had..they will never know the innocence we had but they can at least have the endless days and the love for this beautiful country we all know and their own great music to remember

TY Guys more ideas to keep the brain active..will do my wheels now inside and out..bought the wheel alloy cleaner a while back but not used it yet so time it got used, I decided to fully clean and protect all the leather today so like you ash took a nap after a few hours of scrubbing and wiping and polishing, our old girl looks like she just rolled off the line now..all i need now is a chance to take it out for a spin..as food is getting low and down to the last roll of toilet paper I hope it will be next week, not that i expect to find the toilet paper but never know

Yes the days of going to a record store buy the vinyl and a plastic cover for it and a cassette, I would then clean the album record it and put the album away..I still have quite a collection in mint condition as i played the cassette till it died and then record it again..ahh memories..yes these days with all in lock down i have decided to go through my collection keep the rare ones i have and place others in a pile to pass around to family or friends who still have record players..i am shocked how my tastes have changed over the years as I go through the mass i have..but as we have nothing much else to do but wait a good time to do stuff forgotten or put to one side

Yes same feeling Ashley, if i win lotto definitely will get a look at the local dealer as it has that pure sports car looks..but I also love the sleeper aspect of our Aurion
quiet yet has the punch required when required..plus wife loves it also, so happy wife happy life

Same reply as Ashley put up..it is suitable for E10 fuel and I have used it a few times when fuel prices were massive...I also noticed when using E10 the fuel consumption is higher than E91..I decided a long time ago to pay the few extra cents per litre to use only E91 or E95 if going on a long haul trip you certainly notice the power difference and economy difference using the higher quality fuels..However if money is an issue as it is right now with so many out of work..E10 is perfectly fine to use

You are most welcome, I knew Ash would be on the ball as well as he always has his finger on the pulse, don't remember seeing anything Aussie made either but better safe than sorry, yes not selling our Aurion anytime soon as it still ticks along wonderfully

Thanks for the update Tony, Always good to find a place that does care and goes out of their way to make customers happy..and now you have something to keep the brain ticking over during these scary days ..myself I have done a full interior clean of our Presara..hours spent detailing everything I could clean a slow methodical cleaning of vents, cleaned out glove box, interior glass, the rear privacy screen slowly with soft suction on the vacuum..it now smells wonderful and looks perfectly clean..shame all it gets now is a fast run to do essential shopping but at least it allowed me something to do. Thanks for the Pic's as well and yes does say 25+- Nm..i also never noticed that before
Learn something new every day mate

Audio headunit Camry MY2016 - Apple Car Play
in Camry Club
Posted
Welcome to the forum Hans, depending on if your installing it your self or if you want to have it installed..I would recommend finding the unit you want first then shop around for best price..there are so many head unit's available right now so I am sure you will find one you like..plus the surround to fill the gap of the old unit and if you have any steering wheel controls a harness as well....personally i don't touch anything to do with electronics these days so I got our's fitted by Monster car Audio who did a first rate job..Good Luck let us know the outcome
