I agree with Conrod..it should be what you like!!..your buying it,your driving it.... it should always be your choice & if that is too tough a decision to make then you should take a time out and then decide

Hi Jude, Tyres are a very personal thing to a lot of drivers every one will have a different opinion..it always comes down to a few things..1:Money ..what you can afford...2: your driving style like how many KLMs you drive and what sort of driver you are, where you drive like what the road condition is like ..3: how well set up your car is as in maintaince of brakes, steering, wheel alignment etc..so to ask for a tyre that others use is going to be tough to answer..try and find a good tyre dealer who is maybe having a buy 3 get one free offer there are always bargin tyres available but in the end it is always what you can afford to pay as to what tyres you end up with
Good Luck

I agree With Jude..a dealer issue to fix ..it certainly sounds like a weird issue and i always leave it to professionals too deal with when they are weird issues..
and be sure and let us know what the outcome is Anne

Hi Ann, It could be the disc itself..I "assume" it may be damaged and therefore the unit can't read it..I got sick of our head-unit not having the ability to properly use blue-tooth and the map discs (being so expensive to replace and out of date) that I replaced the unit itself..it may be worth considering a replacement head unit..worth it so you can enjoy more a modern sat-nav set up and sound system
Keep us updated as to the outcome and good luck

Hi Craig, Have you approached Toyota with the dash issue??... as you will read from the many threads posted on here a lot have experienced the same issue with melting dash's and many have had the issue resolved by Toyota at no expense too them..worth you spending the time reading the treads on here already about he issue ..I would then suggest a drive to you Local dealership and see if they are prepared to give you any assistance..some are great some not so.
If not ....then don't leave it there..you do have rights as you will read in the treads..Keep us updated as too the outcome
Good Luck

Hi Eugene, I would suggest first contact the transmission shop and tell them what you have found, and see if they will help you by redoing their work..
If they refuse to do anything too help you or want more money too redo the work you can complain to the consumer ombudsmen or get a lawyer and go through the courts.... as you do have rights!..however I would give the transmission shop the opportunity to fix what they have done first ..before going the ombudsman route or the courts ..as that can take time.
Good Luck and keep us updated

Great too hear your not just accepting what is being said to you by Toyota Murray..as in most cases it can come down to the dealer your with as to how helpful they are..as you will read from many many treads on here about melting dash issues with Aurion's..it has been a big issue and many have fought and won with Toyota over the years..Good on you fighting for your rights..it shows others who are on the edge with taking on a BIG company that if you show your determined and wont just back down you have a very good chance of things happening fast.
Please keep us informed as to how things progress, we are with you

Hello John, as far as I know there is only one fuse for the power windows so if all the rest work it could be the master switch..although it would be strange to have only the passengers window not working..I do remember there was a recall for the master window switching panel on Aurions, so maybe that is worth checking with Toyota to see if yours was due for the recall..apart from that it is a mystery and may require an auto electrician to check it out mate
Hope it is sorted soon

Hi John, I am guessing that the other windows operate properly?..maybe fuses in fuse block worth a good look at..wiring loom in the door?..only wild stab's in the dark sorry..if nothing else works then I would suggest an auto electrician

Welcome Blake..Like some of the messages you have already received.. I too am into keeping my Presara mostly stock..I have done some of the de-badge thing and a grill change plus good quality low profile tyres and quality brake pads..I also changed the head unit as I love my music and wanted a better sat/nav system..quality parts with preventative maintenance is my main thing..it looks like you have the foundation for a great car mate..good luck and keep it on the black stuff
