I think the fault of my aurion come from the doors. Got my car window tinted today. The guys removed the door trims when installing. I am just wondering what kind of the sensor is it and what is it used for? I’m sure my doors are locked, so, well, it’s wired

Hi guys, just have my car tinted with LLumar films today. Looks ok but the guy removed the alarm sticks put on the two front side windows away. I think I need one. Is there any means that I can use to get a new pair? Cheers. The window tinting without windshield can’t do well in heat reduction but the UV resistant is good and would have more privacy

The speedometer is required by laws to be a little bit less than the actual speed and also is required by law not to be too less than the actual speed. Usually European cars’ speedometers are accurate than others.

Yeah this part is the same. The display changes though But the logic of the transmission and the responding time of throttle paddles are remaining unchanged. When talking about s mode, does anyone have experience with Audi’s s mode? Audi’s s mode is crazy even if it’s a cvt box.

Penrite at this price is a SL grade one. The grade of which is technically lower than the Nulon’s that is SN grade. Penrite 5w30 envir+ and envir+ hpr 5 are SN grade but way expensive than this regular SL one

My 2014 atx’s s mode has no difference from the d mode. So I was just thinking it should be like this. I owned a 2005 Toyota crown years ago and the d & s modes were the same too. So well maybe I need to check mine too.

Updates: bought a pair from local dealership cost me NZ$80. Expensive but happy. I ain’t a Camry haha (no offence to Camry bros)

I bought Nulon right after seeing your post, Tony. That's incredibly better than expected. Really good oil would recommend. Cheers Tony! I now agree with you that 6lt is pretty enough haha. I live in NZ. there was a special in supercheap last week. Bought two 4L ones for NZD 62 (AUD 56). Great deal! Nulon here in NZ also provide 1lt Update for the overfilling oil: went back to the garage today and the mechanic just simply unscrewed the oil draining screw and then waited for seconds to allow the oil to drain and then screwed it back again very quickly. Now the level is right on the max dot when cold.

Hi guys, i just replaced my engine oil with 6.1L Nulon 5w-30 SN Long Life. But the oil level is higher than the high dot on the dipstick when the engine was stone cold. Just wondering what’s the best time to use the dip to check the oil level? Stone cold or after warming up? Cheers

So can you guys hear the sounds of the new wipers when they are working? I got a new pair of refills from a Toyota dealer costed me 35 NZD (yes, I’m living in NZ). But I can still hear the sounds when they are working. I would say the windscreen of mine is clean but I just still can hear the sounds. So how about yours?

I bought a 2014 aurion atx recently and am wondering if i should use fully synthetic engine oil like Castrol edge 5w-30 sn in the next service. Before this car, I owned a bmw e90 320i. That's also a good car but just cost too much time to repair. I always treated Castrol edge 5w-40 sn for the old bmw, so want this aurion to be feed with that too. Wondering what kind of engine oils are you guys using and what kind of engine oil the dealers' service departments is using?
