  1. I believe screamnvvtl-i did it, have a look in his profile or pm him
  2. I remember when mine was standard or with lowered springs it was stiff to turn. Just incase its not your PS, get a set of coilovers. A set of Cusco Coilovers will ligten up the steering:) alot.
  3. OK, the fronts are 4'' splits that sit in the dash and the rear???? they have rear speakers? Cause my Seca sure dont have any... But if you are just buying new ones or what ever... ild say stick with 6x9's in the back because you got the voice coil and the low fequiecy cone if thats what its call lol.... (going my my audio knowleadge from the bf). If you tell me spercificatly where they are then i can deffently help. Yeah i think only the SX and maybe some special editions came with factory speakers in the rear, I think they are 4 x 6 inches, so will have to take em out and have a look.
  4. I got 2 reasons i'm after a straight swap. - i just to put it all toghther my self one weekend without workshop downtime (i suppose re-drilling isn't too bad, but wold preffer bolt on, but if everything else vr4 bolts on, i'd be happy); and - i want it to look stock as possible (insurance cough cough), so big brake kits are not really an option.
  5. Just found out VR4/EVO 1 to 3 are 4 x 114.3, so redrilling is required on the disks :( So the search continues for straight swapsies!!!!!!!!!
  6. Just been looking on another forum and aparently Vr4 twin piston calipers and rotors fit on corolla with minimal mods. I'm waiting on more info though. Also aparantley vr4 and Evo 1 to 3 have pretty much the same brakes.
  7. Don't worry about it, nothing will happen to it, its neutral, thats what it is for.
  8. You can get the zero2's for less than 2k new, they are the real deal!!!!!!!!! Tein SS, well I don't know why you would buy them, except to tell your friends you have Tein in your car.
  9. get cusco zero 2's, much better coilover than tein ss
  10. Anyway just get Cusco Zero 2 coilovers. Many of us are running these on our Rollas and a very very very satisfied.
  11. I remember reading a while back that the lower supension bracket holes (2 on the bottom) are wider than the Corolla. I think you can use sleaves to fill them in, but I personally wouldn't trust em. Have a look on the 9th gen forums.
  12. No probs, nearly 2 months on, its still silky into 2nd and i still haven't crunched the gear once. Just proves the adjustment does work!!!!!!!
  13. Ended up cancelling my order for the Proxes as it specifies not mount on a 7 inch rim. Therefore i have gone with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT KU31 tyres in 215/40/18, plus they were even cheaper. Seems to have jsut as good reviews as Proxes, so will give them a review soon.
  14. There is a DIY in one the sections (Prop workshop) Takes about 5 mins and a screwdriver, thats it.
  15. Will be getting a set of 225/40R18 Proxes 4 for my Rolla this week, will give feedback soon. After a bit of research this seems to be the best bang for your buck tyre:)
  16. Found it the search 0-100km wasnt working but 100km came up with the goods http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...98&hl=100km
  17. Hey does any1 know the Sportivo 0-100km time, i just want to compare it to the Altezza RS200
  18. Hey I'm stocking up my ride, so i want to get the red paint off my callipers. Any1 know what solvent will work, which I can just spray on and hose off.
