  1. i remember testing mine back in the days and getting between 9-10 seconds on my phone lol..... u can never be so accurate unless ecu management is involved.

Haha love u too turk Haha funny thing is, i raced a supercharged 1zz a few months bak.... in all honestly i cudnt get infront or neither cud he... they were so evenly matched..... sinan wud know wat kinda bals my N14 has hahahaha Dude, speaking from experience on the site, it's not at all hard to be banned on there. The majority of the moderators will ban you if you even fart. yep ur right, i got banned for talking bout street racing which is illegal on PGA.

  4. yep also have to agree there. also a thing i use to love about the celica's... they have a nice cosy interior for winter and felt really homey.... and also when u drive them and ur on the E line for the fuel for empty, you can actualy drive another 50-80 k's under the line and not run out of fuel hahahaha so dont push it with the sss. im not coming again with the jerry can.
  5. to be honest... i'm not expecting too much hey... the rubber i've got isn't really crash hot at sticking under stress... :P i'd be happy with mid low 14s... only one way to find out i guess! would have to head out sometime!! :) rubber isnt that important if ur not running big power figures,,,, ud start to think about rubber once going over 120kwatw... but if u ask me id say a low to mid 14.... definately nice work.

Goes ok, not really aiming to be a dyno queen. :) Hey man, nice rolla, id definately agree with the whole dyno queen thing, looks like an amazing car to be driven on the street. What 1/4 mile times are you expecting? Mid 14's me thinks... with lots of torque and an LSD.

  12. Hey guys, my names Jacob. Im 19 years of age. I own a 1995 Black Japspec Pulsar SSS N14. Reason for joining the forum, i actualy joined sometime last year but never used it, and ive been surfing it lately and everything seems focused and because i am always in the toyota/corolla scene all the time and i know alot about them as much as pulsar's. I'm also on other forums, use might know me as BLACK-JAP. Not many pics as of yet because im on the work PC. It's a pretty punchy car with lots of grunt. Mods include - Custom set of headers - 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust - K & N panel filter - Slotted brake rotors - MOMO steering wheel - Pioneer stereo system - Set of 17" HP replica's. - Painted rocker cover. Mods of these mods came with the car when i bought it. At the moment, the car should be going off road this week to go through a mass recovery session. Hopefully if funds pay for all, ill be getting... - New japspec front bar because mine is smashed - New 5% tints all round. - New number plates that are black with silver writing. - New P badge on the front grille - New Lenso Tenzo R's DC6 Version 2's..... 17" black with polished lip. - New gearbox (2nd hand) - New Exety Heavy Duty Organic Clutch - New driveshaft/cv's. - New gear linkage as mine is bent - 3 New engine mounts (rear one solid) - Custom cold air intake setup down to the frount guard. - New flex pipe in the exhaust and new catalyct converter. - New shifter bushes - New B.C Racing coilovers/ or ISC N1 spec coilovers - HID conversion in the headlights. - Phillips Crystalvision foglights. - Pioneer DVD player with Response Monoblock amp. - New Drift Steering wheel as the MOMO one i got is ugly at the moment lol. - New brake pads and machine rotors - New spark plugs and leads - If any money leftover, hopefully getting a set of TOMEI Poncams. - Thats pretty much some up my ride. I only have 1 picture of my car at the moment but here it is...
  13. = ROFL Haha I had the same attitude in my Paseo - if the crappy 5E-FE blows up its 4EFTE time. lol, one thing i never understood with my old celica, it came standard with a sports strut brace, but had a very slow motor in it... what was toyota thinking lol
  14. Wow no power after 5k? That must suck. I hit 4k and the rpms just bounce right up to 7k. Normally with abit of wheel spin too. And it keeps going right on up to 4th. 5th gear is a little more sane though. but by the tme you reach that your doing better than 180 if you have kept your revs high... Damn i love the 3sge we are talking about the 5s-fe.... 3s-ge is a different story lol...

  16. To get a SR20DE to make 100kwatw... you would have to have Tomei Poncams, Extractors, Full exhaust, Cold air intake, Adjusted igniton timing. And your looking at 98-101 kw atw depending on the dyno.... and a High 14 run with a good suspension/tyre setup.
  17. Haha yep I still owe you a ride in it lol.... I went to a dyno day a couple of months ago and there was a lightly modified VE there that came down from the central coast. I think he pulled about 115kw atw but he told me the mechanic didnt rev his car out and only dipped it into the high lobe and let go of the throttle. If what he told me is true, id believe they are animal motors, but if thats peak power, along with all those mods his done to it, id rather stick to a DE.
  18. oh **** yeh the sr20 is a strong contender dont get me wrong im only havin a dig by slaggin them off nissan engines are ok just the build quality is not fantastic yep ur right. SR20DE = punchy motors for stock, definately only a touch slower than the sportivo's these days.... fomr what i know a dead stock average time for a sportivo is a 15.5.... dead stock for a sss is 15.9 I enjoy the good power delivery in my car especialy the mid range as its quite torquey... but yep build quality aint on the money although if serviced regularly then they can go up to 300,000 km with no problem. but yes toyota is tough lol Enough Said!

  21. damn, 2 weeks is alot, altho she told a mod to stfu.... ive been banned of 3 forums and ive never even done that lol. Our moderating team seems to be very focused here. Some of the ones on bootcruising are actually very good (they have to be with the amount of idiots on there I'd say). justcommodore.com.au however, failed utterly. Nelson infiltrated their ranks and they didn't even notice. Noobs. Oh yes I havnt been surfing this forum for a long time although it seems quite good. On another note... your sig about gordon ramsay.... he is absolute epic. I was watching his show a few weeks ago and just his replies are sooo random yet so epic.
