  1. Most of us down melbourne have had an exhaust added and found that we've lost power ... having a stock muffler with CAI was dyno'ed 110-113kw atw.. with various diff types of exhausts we only managed to pull 108-109 kw. Lucio with a CES system and a short-ram intake had pulled 108.5kw atw..

I think moto man was just giving him advice that he might not gain anything out of a system coz some ppl have installed full custom exhaust system and have gained nothing out of it!

But yeah if u r after a good system .. search for CES, as most queensland member have it and love it!

  2. goodboys,

yep they r in, just pm specialized32

goodboys -- u got a rear sway bar? do u also have an exhaust? sometimes they may clang when taking a corner hard .. happens on my mates evo4

yeah i got the rear sway.. just put back my stock exhaust .. the rattle sounds like its behind the dash.. i thought it was my modified cables.. toyota said it was my sway bar/strut bar.. u reckon its bc i havent got the spacers?

rattles when im cruising on 3,000rpm.. very noticable when stereo is off.

  3. if its exactly the same style, mesh and a staright fit no stuffing around trying to fit it from the foto with the black one im interested.

would like to see pics as well

i will upload a pic once i get home. at work atm :)

i think the rear skirt is a diff fit to the sportivo... he said he had to change 2 bolts or something when he installed the previous sportivo.

Its a straight on fit for ascent/conquest/levin.

  4. if you dont want to spend the money on Koni's then you can also have your original struts revalved to suit whatever springs you want. Usually about $120-150ea to get it done at a good suspension shop if you take the struts to them.

Nah, i specifically want to replace the stock shocks, because they are garbage and at only 65000ks, on their way out. And i never said i don't want to spend much, i just dont want to spend 2.5k + for a set of decent coilovers. Whatever shocks will get the job done with the super low drop (50+mm), I am keen on. I don't think shocks get much more expensive than $1200 a set anyhows, but i could very well be wrong.

let me know once u found some good shocks.. mines due too ;)
