I know this has been argued before but is this legal in NSW??? (is the exposed pod filter deemed to be "outside the engine bay" when it is mounted near the fog light? n can u get away with it if it is a dry filter instead of an oiled one?) Dont know where the line is ... really not black or white .. ive had a cop look under my bonnet and he didnt care ... but im sure others would kick a stink up about it .. and we arent at the point where we have to get the car checked at rego time yet .. in regards to the oiled or non oiled .. are you asking that for legal reasons too ?? or just what we are using ?

if you go in to the shop and mention a few names and the club then you should be able to get the cai and the pod filter for that price ... again .. there are many syd members happy to help install .. and everyone I know who has a Shift CAI has been very happy with it .. including myself .. also to add .. make sure you speak to Sal ..

'Tick Tick' noise, is that Toyota's Technical term for it ? hahahaha 6.1km seem like a fairly lengthy test drive to test an indicator stalk.... ;) (It was Northy who's car went for some questionable test driving) Haha hell yeah dude, they used the term in the recall letter I think 6km is fair, but who knows what they do with it when they drive it. used it to go on the lunch run .... :P must have gone into NSW ... hahahah

we have a 3 door auto YRS .. i drove the yr and the yrs when we were buying and i definately didnt like the lack of GO when i wanted GO from the YR ... big difference in the 1.3 - 1.5 only way is for you to drive both and see what you like ... the leather steering wheel is very nice .... still wondering what it will take for me to convince the wife to swap it over to the rolla ... ;P .. dont think that will happen .. also the size is the same irrespective of 3 or 5 door ... and unless 5 doors is absolutely needed .. definately go the 3 door ... plenty of space to enter the rear seats from the front door ... so save your cash on the 5 door and put it to the 3 dr yrs !!! :)

i've only been on one cruise with the club, and i'd have to say that xoom/bill is the hardest one in the group to catch and was always the fastest lol not possible ..... xoom dosent speed on public roads .... :P :P
