I have this problem too taken my car to toyota like 6 times!! toyota is ****** they cant find wats wrong wit it ... they lifted my idle up manually ... but when its cold it will still drop an start shakin under 500 idunno why it does this ... its ****** i hate it ... makes me so angry ... I think we should all do something about this problem .... Its a common problem with the corolla an toyota know it.. But they won't admit to it ... if more an more people complain they have to find the problem and fix it! print this thread out an take it to toyota show them that its not only u wit this problem ....

Hey guys im thinking of buying the Apexi N1 Exhaust but just the cannon as they dont make it from the cat back for my car is $550 a good price to buy ? Or is it better to buy a Trust exhaust which comes with the catback so its pretty much bolt on. With the apexi i would have to get a custom pipe made up... Let me know your thoughts please an wats the best exhaust to get for our cars? i want a cannon ... can anyone tell me prices??

Ive got the TRD Cold air intake ... an no its not just cause im use to the sound ... its not as loud as when i first had it ... it sounds like a wrexi when i first installed it lasted for a month an then 1 day it was raining really bad since then its just not as loud..

Hey guys i was on a cruise on the weekend with some other corollas an my cool air intake isnt as loud as theres i remember when i first got mine like 5months ago it was so loud now you can just hear it ... doesnt have that raw sound to it anymore? Option 1 if I clean it you recon the sound will come back? Option 2 Buy a new pod? if i do whats the best an loudest pod.. Anyone got any suggestions... wat it could be or wat i should do

B) Guys the burning smell is normal ... I usually get it after i full race my car ... after i get out of the car u can smell the brakes an clutch smell an a burning smell comming from your engine ... All cars get it when u drive it hard ... if u drive ur car like a grandma you wont get it so relax its normal lol :P Drive hard or drive like a grandma you pussys ...! For those who have this problem ... Mine is fixed and i have the answer to your problem ... If your in Sydney take your car to castle hill toyota they know what they are doing ... Aparently you can adjust the idle through the butterfly screw on the throttle to notch it idle up... just enough so its just right ... if you adjust it by the computer ... the computer will only overwrite the settings ... I hope i have helped anyone who has had this problem as this problem as been driving me crazy for 5 months! something so simple that took 15 mins ... not even! :D Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I have been havin problems with the idle too it wont do it all the time ... just some times when im stopped at the lights idlein ... my idle will drop.. under 650 go down shake for like 2- 4 secs just before its about to turn off it will stablize itself. and other times ill just feel small vibrations through the car ... its hard to explain. I have taken the car to toyota 3 times now an they recon they fixed it ... still does it... everytime i go to show them the car is fine it won't do it...
