I totally know how you feel SILVABULLIT.....I too am looking at buying the new 05 Sportivo with one sales guy from a Sydney Toyota dealership (I better not mention which dealership! hehe) having absolute NFI on the car whatsoever. He only mentioned the new front end and new look fog lights. Because I knew alot more than the sales rep I was asking him all the relevant questions! There is no way I would give that guy my business. Anyway, on a happier note though I am now dealing with another Sydney dealership with this sales rep knowing the new Sportivo inside out due to himself owning an '03 model and now also purchasing the '05 model for himself. He was giving me great info on the new changes with comparisons against the pre & post Sportivo. So it's definately all good....It's now just a matter of getting the best price for the new lil beast! hehe :D PS - For those who didnt know the silver on the new model Sportivo is now known as Sterling silver. It now has a tinge of gold throughout the colour rather than having the flat metallic silver on the pre facelift Sportivo. Would be interesting to see what everyone's thoughts are on the new silver colour actually. Cheers guys :)

Yeh that is a shame that the grille and bumper and now one moulded piece. Ah well, I still reckon the new 05 Sportivo looks damn hot with the factory front end. :P

Hi Guys, Just wanting to know if any of the new '05 Sportivo owners know if you can actually replace the front grille with the TRD/Toyota Sports grille? By the looks of things, it seems that the new front end being the grille and front bumper are now all one piece/mould. Is this right???

The new 05 silver Sportivo looks hot to trot! All I have to do now is decide on which colour to go for... Black or Silver??? PS - Where did you get the pic from mtbrider?

Looks like us Sydney-siders are one of the last to receive the new Sportivo's :( I just hope one of the Sydney dealers gets in with one soon! :)

Hi Guys, For anyone out there like me who is just hanging to get into the new '05 Sportivo I have visited 2 Toyota dealerships in Sydney today as their advice was the official release date for the Sportivo is the 30th of March 05. The new Sportivo's are currently being shipped and are at sea but the major dealers in Sydney will be having either 1 or 2 on display in approx 2 weeks, ready for sale. :D

Did anyone get to check out the new '05 Sportivo @ the Melbourne Motor Show? Details please! Still no word from any dealers here in Sydney :(

OK Guys, Some news just in from my reliable source @ Toyota HQ. With the stand out new features already being mentioned in this post, I have been advised that the 6 CD In Dash stacker is also being upgraded to........................... MP3/CD!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like the new 05 Sportivo is surely gonna be rockin! :D

Hi Jabz, You must be like me as I too am just hanging to put my order on the new 2005 Sportivo yet I have been getting the run around from a couple of the dealers here in Sydney. Can I ask which dealer you have been dealing with as it sounds like you have received very positive info and good service. Cant wait to see some pics too with the all new bodykit! :D
